Using Tongue Twisters to Improve Your Pronunciation in English

Hi everyone. I'm Jennifer from English with  Jennifer. Try saying "toy boat" five times fast.

Tongue twisters can be short or long, but they're  all designed to twist our tongue. We can untwist

it and speak clearly if we slow down just  enough to stay in control of our pronunciation.

Right now, let's use three more tongue twisters  to work on clear articulation. Tongue twisters

Here's the next one. How much wood would a  woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Say it slowly at first and find the rhythm.

Here's a tip. Record yourself two times. First, go  slowly use good rhythm and connected sounds. Then

go faster. Speed it up. Can you still stay  in control? If not, slow it back down again.

This is a fun use of sounds and word  forms. We have "nice" and "nicely,"

the adjective and adverb. Then we have  the plural noun "nurses" and "nursing,"
