a phrase with you that can be used in 3 different ways

it's a very common phrasal verb

the verb is to break down

والفعل هو كسر

I though of this phase to share with you today

أنا على الرغم من هذه المرحلة لمشاركتها معك اليوم

because one of my students has a problem with transportation this morning

لأن إحدى طالباتي تواجه مشكلة في النقل هذا الصباح ، فقد

she came to class and she said I'm so sorry I'm late the train broke down

جاءت إلى الفصل وقالت إنني آسف جدًا لأنني تأخرت ، فقد تعطل القطار ،

so this is the first way that you can use the verb 'to break down'

لذا فهذه هي الطريقة الأولى التي يمكنك من خلالها استخدام فعل "التفكك"

the train or the bus or a car can break down

يمكن أن يتعطل القطار أو الحافلة أو السيارة

if you have complicated information

إذا كانت لديك معلومات معقدة

you want to break it down or to organize information in to smaller amounts that are more understandable to your audience

that is to break down information if you want to ask for clarification this is an excellence phrase to use

the third way that we can use the phase break down is for describing an emotional state

الطريقة الثالثة التي يمكننا من خلالها استخدام الانهيار المرحلي هي وصف الحالة العاطفية

if a person breaks down, it means that they are not able to handle what is happening

إذا انهار الشخص ، فهذا يعني أنهم غير قادرين على التعامل مع ما يحدث ، فهم

they are nervous they are anxious and they are not able to cope with the situation

قلقون ولا يستطيعون التعامل مع الوضع

great so we have 3 ways to use this common phrase

with a car,bus,or train to describe some problem with transportation

with information to ask for clarification and to describe a person's emotional state

so as you can see, we can use this phrase in many different ways
