GOODBYE 2022 - HELLO 2023 | Happy New Year! 🎆

So here we are again at the end of another year.

그래서 우리는 또 다른 해의 끝자락에 있습니다.

And what a year it has been.

그리고 1년이 지났습니다.

As many nations continued to live under

많은 국가가 계속해서

the shadow of the Covid virus,

코로나 바이러스의 그림자 아래에서 살았고

and others slowly adapt to life after lockdown…

다른 국가는 봉쇄 후 삶에 천천히 적응함에 따라...

the uncertainty of the  future for countries at war,

전쟁 중인 국가의 미래에 대한 불확실성,

be it from external forces  or within its own boundaries…

외부 세력 또는 자체 경계 내...

countries such as Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq,

예멘, 시리아와 같은 국가 , 아프가니스탄, 이라크,이란, 나이지리아,

Iran, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan,

소말리아, 수단,

and of course the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

그리고 물론 우크라이나에서 진행중인 분쟁.

On top of that, we have  economic woes to content with

게다가

as inflation created hardship for those

인플레이션으로 인해 이미 생존을 위해 고군분투하는 사람들이 어려움을 겪으면서 만족해야 할 경제적 문제가 있습니다

already struggling to survive.

. 올해

The lives of so many were  changed forever this year.

많은 사람들의 삶이 영원히 바뀌었습니다.

Here in the UK we mourned the loss of

이곳 영국에서 우리는 여왕 즉위

Queen Elizabeth ii in September,

just weeks after celebrating her 70th anniversary as our monarch.

70주년을 기념한 지 불과 몇 주 후인 9월에 엘리자베스 2세 여왕의 죽음을 애도했습니다 .

On a personal note, Steve sadly lost his mother

개인적으로 Steve는

just 2 days after the Queen passed away,

여왕이 세상을 떠난 지 이틀 만에 슬프게도 어머니를 잃었고

which has affected us all greatly.

이는 우리 모두에게 큰 영향을 미쳤습니다.

Needless to say we miss her very much.

말할 필요도 없이 우리는 그녀를 매우 그리워합니다.

It is normal at the end of the year to reflect

연말에

on what has passed during the previous months.

지난 몇 달 동안 지나간 일을 반성하는 것은 정상적인 일입니다.

Was it a good year?

좋은 해였나요?

Did I achieve anything? What were the highlights?

내가 무엇을 성취했는가? 하이라이트는 무엇이었나요?

And what were the Low points?

그리고 낮은 점수는 무엇입니까?

You might come to the conclusion

that despite all the problems faced during 2022,

2022년에 직면한 모든 문제에도 불구하고

it could have been better…

더 나았을 수도 있고 훨씬 더

then again it could have been so much worse.

나빴을 수도 있다는 결론에 도달할 수 있습니다.
