LEARN ENGLISH in 2025 - Great advice for improving your English learning with Mr Duncan

Recently I have received many messages asking if I can give some clear ways of learning English whilst having a busy life.

It is true that many of us these days have a lot on our plate.

We all seem to have things to do which can affect our plans for the future.

Learning takes time and patience.

学習には時間と忍耐が必要です。

Something that might be hard to achieve if you lead a hectic life.

I suppose the most important thing to remember when learning anything is to find the time to do it.

何かを学ぶときに覚えておくべき最も重要なことは、それを行う時間を見つけることだと思います。

You must give yourself the opportunity to learn new things.

新しいことを学ぶ機会を自分に与えなければなりません。

I suppose the most important word I want to use right now is time.

Time is everything.

Giving yourself the time to do things is important.

This might sound like a very obvious thing to say, but you'll be surprised just how often we forget how important it is to make time to do things

Especially those important things such as learning a new language.

Before you begin doing anything.

You must have a good idea of what you want to achieve.

Make a basic plan of what you wish to achieve from the thing you are going to pursue.

I would imagine many of you watching already have a basic understanding of the English language.

However, this does not mean you shouldn't have some sort of plan in place.

Take time to discover the things you are good at...

These four phrases should be the most important things to remember and put into practice.

A few moments ago, I mentioned time as being an important part of learning a subject.

Give yourself time to learn and absorb what it is you are studying.

Don't rush.

There is no need to push yourself.

Trying to do too much over a short period of time will only leave you feeling tired.

By this I mean time.

Use that time to watch a short lesson or listen to something being read.

The most common problem with most people learning anything is motivation.

Having that sense of determination is rather like having an inner superpower that you can use at any time.

I would say that motivation and self-determination are both key parts of learning anything.

Even when things seem difficult. Keep going.
