We went to a party yesterday.

In fact, we got up yesterday morning and around about quarter to seven.

We went to pick Steve's mum up from her house.

Then we had to drive a very long way from there

to the place where there was a wedding.

We went to a wedding yesterday and also a wedding party that was held afterwards.

Do I have to tell you what happened?

Well, we did eat a lot of food.

There was some alcohol consumed.

And before I go any further, we are talking

about parties and things connected to parties.

So can I just say that we do not

condone or promote drinking until you fall on your arse?

we had a party last night as well.

It was Steve's nephew, Steve's nephew

getting married to a lovely girl, a Canadian girl.

Some of her relatives flew all the way here from Canada.

And that's a long way, by the way.

And I suppose I suppose

everyone wanted to have a good time.

And let's just say a lot of people did have a good time.

There was dancing.

There was some singing.

There was a lot of eating and maybe a little bit of drinking of alcohol.

And can I just say again, we have to make sure of this.

You see, Steve, we do not condone or promote drinking

until you fall on your arse or or face.

But if you wanted to do it, it's up to you.

So we don't want to be accused of promoting anything like that, so we're not going to.

Mr. Steve had to drive 250 miles.

Yes, I drove in total yesterday, picking my mother

up, going to the wedding venue, taking it back and then driving back home.

I have gone to a lot of trouble to get this live stream on air because my head

is aching, and it's partly because of the alcohol.

I did have a few drinks yesterday to celebrate the wedding,

but also we we got back very late.

In fact, we arrived back here at 10 to 2 this morning

and we woke up and my head was really hurting.

So I think it was a combination of having some alcohol.

Steve, you did you drink to double Baileys?

I had to double Baileys some point.

I don't know what else you consumed.

I did have one because

they had, like a reception to start off with.

And I thought, well, I'm not driving for

at least 6 hours at that point.

So I knew it was safe to have one

drink of alcohol because the alcohol would have been out of my system.

You can't drink and drive in this country.

I don't think you can in some kind of in this country.

Just let's just keep to the points of yesterday before we go.

I'm not paying for what I say because Mr.

Gentleman's going a bit. Well.

A lot of people, a lot of television waiting, Steve, for 54 minutes

for us to come on.

Driving under the influence of alcohol is Catarina.

That is the correct way of expressing that.

When he drove back, I had some alcohol.

But there was a lot of alcohol.

And we got back late last night and I hardly slept because I kept waking up.

And then this morning when I got up, I just felt awful.

And I thought, there is no way that I can do a live stream today.

And I think it's not the alcohol. It's actually

lack of sleep.

So Steve's mum had the most amazing time and I think

most people were talking about your mum more

than the bride and groom or even me.

I mean, it was almost like it wasn't the bride and bride groom's day at all.

It was more like it was my mum's day, some celebration of my mother.

Everyone wants to follow you around.

And when we left, it was like it was like leaving a party, you know?

You know, when you see those supermodels leaving parties

very late at night.

Your mother was leaving the party last night and she had a whole group of people around her

helping her and making sure that she was safe

as she walked through the streets to the car.

And it was so funny.

It was just an amazing time.

So so we we all enjoyed it.

Some of us enjoyed it a little bit too much.

That's what you're supposed to do at a wedding celebration.

You have all this sort of you have all the formal proceedings.

And then you you have a little bit of a drink afterwards and then you go and have a sit down meal

and then afterwards you have the disco in the evening. Yes.

So it was full of food.

It was full on loads of food.

I've never seen so much food served during a meal.

There was meat of all sorts chicken, huge pieces of steak.

I've never seen such big pieces of steak, vegetables, salads.

We even had two desserts.

I've never, ever been to a party, ever where there were two desserts

and we ate everything we could.

So I'm feeling the the after effect now

of partying a little bit too hard.

the actual wedding moment

was not actually a real one, was it?

because it was it's already happened in Canada.

But the strange thing is on their official document,

because you have to have some sort of proof or document

to show who was getting married on their document.

They had a photograph or photographs of their dogs.

So instead of their photograph, they had pictures of their dogs instead.

Because they're already married, you say so because of the married in Canada.

Everything yesterday was was almost like a re-enactment.

So people might be wondering why have two wedding ceremonies, two marriages?

there are

relatives in Canada and there are relatives here.

So they had one wedding in Canada, which was the official wedding.

But not everybody could fly to Canada, including my mother

and us and us, because we had to look after my mother while my sister was away.

So they decided to have a second wedding just for the people in the UK,

which was very nice of them.

So they had two wedding ceremonies, which is rather indulgent,

but just as well, because otherwise we wouldn't have had such a lovely evening.

Yes, but it was amazing.

It was I think it's one of the best parties I've been to for a long time.

And that and that that is true.

So so if if Steve's relatives are watching,

you arranged a brilliant party.

We all had fun, but I think

you know who had the most fun yesterday, Steve?

I think this is a really cool thing.

It will actually take the top of that jam jar and there's nothing worse than trying to do that.

there is a very good hint or tip

that I can give our viewers if they are struggling

to take the lids off their jars.

All you got to do is where some rubber gloves are,

some kitchen gloves that you might use for washing up,

and that will give you loads of grip

around the lid of your difficult to remove jam jar lids. Yes.

Oh, and that's what we need to do.

Oh, get one of these robots. I just.

I just think this is amazing. Why spend all your.

I bet that's not cheap. It isn't.

And I would venture to suggest

which is a fairly pointless device unless you are really elderly.

That you cannot remove the lids from your jars and maybe you shouldn't

be looking at living at home on your own, maybe you should be in a home.

the the the lid of the jar on a hard surface

that releases the pressure inside the jar, and then you can remove the lid quite easily.

But rubber gloves, rubber gloves into tip.

You see, we're here to give all sorts of advice to our viewers.

Oh, oh, you can use one of these crazy robots.

I just think that's amazing, because a lot of people are worried about robots taking over the world.

But look, there it is.

There is a robot that is actually useful, that's doing something useful.

I mean, you literally have to be living on your own so weak

that you can't unscrew through a lid of a jar once again, compassion.

to visit, ask a neighbour or use some rubber gloves or tap it

on some hard concrete and then undo it.

Yeah, that's the thing you have to do is please bash your glass jar on concrete

or you can use a wooden spoon, give it a hard bash, and then you will have to pick

the broken glass out of your food afterwards, which is another good reason for having the rubber

gloves on in the first place because you won't cut yourself with all the glass.

I can think of many reasons why you would want rubber gloves.

Oh, there's a popular video on YouTube at the moment telling you how to remove

the lid of a can.

So canned food, you know, you use out use a can opener, a can opener.

If you haven't got a can opener, how do you remove the lid so you are out in the wild?

We use this as a small that's a small 1920s cinema camera, isn't it.

Well, there's a couple of gentlemen on that YouTube are very entertaining, showing you exactly

how to remove the lid on your jar of tuna,

on your tin of tuna, for example, if you haven't got a tin opener, okay, you scrape it

on some concrete, you scrape it like that, and eventually it weighs the edges down.

Then you can take the lid off.

That only takes a few seconds.

I mean, it takes a few seconds.

The car actually slammed the brakes on.

we averted an accident with my mother in the back of the car, okay?
