Quite often in life, you know what it's like.

You make plans, you make arrangements,

maybe something you want to do in the future,

maybe something you have always wanted to do,

and now you have the chance to do it.

But something happens,

something goes wrong, your circumstances change.

Maybe there is some sort of problem.

Maybe something happens that you weren't expecting.

So you have to make a change of plan.

It is something that people have to do quite often in life,

especially over the over the last couple of years.

I suppose it's fair to say that many people

have had to change their plans in recent times.

And we all know why.

We all know why that is.

So change of plan, a thing you are planning to do,

but unfortunately you had to make changes.

As we always say in life, sometimes things do not go the way you thought they would.

Things come along and they change your plans.

They they might even destroy your plans.

Now, I know that's a very dramatic word to use, but we do often use that word

when we have a plan that we want to carry out, something we want to do,

and then something else comes along and it spoil everything.

You might say that your plans have been destroyed.

I know it's very dramatic. You are right.

Sometimes things do not

go the way you thought they would.

There are times when plans have to be altered or changed in some way.

You might change your plan.

You might alter your plan,

you rearrange your plans.

So if you rearrange something, it means you are making a different plan.

You are arranging something that is different

to your original plan.

There are times when plans have to be altered

and changed in some way.

We often say that the best made plans

often go wrong, so they need to be changed.

The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.

So even though even this, our plans

have been very carefully arranged,

even if we plan everything carefully,

things can still go wrong.

Things sometimes can still go

wrong, which means you have to make changes.
