Now I know that it’s already 5 days after the New Year,

and for some Americans, it’s already too late to say “Happy New Year”.

But I wanted to take the opportunity to wish you all the best for the coming year.

in France, it seems ok to continue saying happy new year

But, in the US, we don’t really say Happy New Year after about the first week of January.

Maybe the second week if you haven’t seen someone since Dec. 31st.,
