So this is a real English sentence,

When we say something is tough sledding,

we mean it's hard work.

Sometimes at work,

I might have a project that I have to work on

and I know it's going to be difficult,

This is a kind of a funny phrase

that we use when we describe the temperature outside.

If you go outside and it's a little bit cold, we'll say,

밖에 나가서 조금 추우면

"Oh it's a bit nippy outside,"

"아, 밖이 좀 춥다"

or, "It's a little bit nippy outside."

또는 "밖이 약간 춥다"라고 말할 것입니다.

So it means it's not really cold.

그래서 정말 춥지 않다는 뜻입니다.

If it's really cold,

날씨가 정말 추우면

we would say it's freezing cold outside,

밖이 꽁꽁 얼어붙고 있다고 말할 수 있습니다

or it's freezing outside.

But sometimes in the fall or spring, you go outside,

and you expect it to be warm, and it's actually a bit nippy.

So it's just a little colder than you were expecting.
