Learn the English Phrases HARD TO FOLLOW and TO FOLLOW IN SOMEONE'S FOOTSTEPS

the English phrase "hard to follow."

"hard to follow"라는 영어 표현을 배우는 데 도움을 드리고 싶었습니다.

Hard to follow simply means

따라하기 어렵다는 것은

that something is hard to understand

무언가를 이해하기 어렵

or it's hard to keep track of what's happening

거나

when you're watching something or reading something

무언가를 보거나 읽을 때

or when someone is talking to you.

또는 누군가가 당신에게 말할 때 무슨 일이 일어나고 있는지 추적하기 어렵다는 것을 의미합니다.

Hopefully, when you watch my videos,

they're not hard to follow.

I know sometimes when you watch an English movie

or English TV show, it might be hard to follow.

You might have to pause and rewind

and maybe turn the subtitles on every once in a while,

because sometimes people just speak too quickly

The other phrase I wanted to teach you today

is "to follow in someone's footsteps."

When you follow in someone's footsteps,

누군가의 발자취를 따라간다는 것은 그 사람과

it means you do the same thing as they do.

같은 일을 한다는 뜻입니다.

Usually this is between generations,

like when children do the same job as their mom or dad,

we say that they are following in their footsteps.

Often, this happens on farms.

Often, farms are taken over by the next generation.

Sometimes the son or daughter of a farmer
