I wanted to help you learn the English phrase, I'm boiling.

Sometimes we also say, I'm boiling hot.

時々、私は熱く沸騰しているとも言います。

So when water gets to 100 degrees Celsius, it boils.

つまり、水が 摂氏 100 度になると沸騰します。

So we used the word, boil or boiling,

to describe how hot we are or how hot it is.

It's a bit of an exaggeration.

It's really hot here in Ontario, Canada right now.

So I could say that when I'm outside I'm boiling.

Or I could say, I'm boiling hot.

It's so hot outside.

I could say, it's boiling hot outside.

外は蒸し暑いと言えます。

So, we kind of exaggerate a bit

because it's not 100 degrees Celsius here.

But we use the word boil or boiling

to describe how hot the weather is.

Yesterday I worked outside in the heat of the afternoon

and it was boiling hot.

When I came in, I said, "I'm boiling hot.

It's only about 31 degrees Celsius.

I know for some of you that's not very hot.

So when we have a series of days in a row

where it's very very hot, we call it a heat wave.

I know again for some of you

that doesn't sound very hot.

But for us here in Canada, where we normally

like it fairly cool, that is pretty hot for us.

So, right now it is boiling hot outside

and I'm boiling.

Because we are in the middle of a heat wave.

That is going to last probably until Sunday I think.

we are going to be over 30 degrees.
