Meaning of MINT CONDITION - A Really Short English Lesson with Subtitles

So I often buy things used.

I don't often buy things brand new.

This van behind me I bought used and when we bought it, it was in mint condition.

When something is in mint condition it means that you are getting it used but it actually

is almost like it's brand new.

When we bought this van it only had 80,000 kilometres on it and it looked like it had

been taken care of really, really well by the previous owner.

So we were so happy to get it for a good price and that it was in mint condition.

A lot of times when I look to buy something used I'm looking for something that is reasonably

priced and in mint condition.

This is my favourite van right now by the way.

I have another van over there, my red one, but this is my fav.

Anyways, sometimes when you buy something it's in good shape.

So I think mint condition means almost brand new, like you can hardly tell, but when something's

in good shape it's just in general not too bad.

When something's in good shape it's, it's less perfect than mint condition, but it's

certainly still well worth buying because it's in good shape.
