Meaning of GOT ME THINKING - A Really Short English Lesson with Subtitles

So the other day I was having a conversation with Jen about exercise.

We were talking about how I try to exercise a lot to stay healthy.

But that conversation GOT ME THINKING about the food I eat and how when you exercise you

should also eat healthy.

So the phrase, "got me thinking", refers to when one idea causes you to have another idea.

And we could say that, "Jen got me thinking about my diet."

"Jen got me thinking about eating healthier."

But you could also say, "The conversation got me thinking about eating healthier."

So it's really just a way to describe when one idea, or one conversation, or one interaction

with someone causes you to have another idea.

Sometimes when I make a video it gets me thinking about the next video and that's pretty handy.

Anyways, I just, I'm just gonna say, "Hi!", for the bonus material this time.

It's really late.

It's actually getting dark out here on the farm.

Jen and I sold a lot of flowers at the market tonight and we had a pretty good night.

It was really, really busy.

So, no real bonus material in this lesson for you to learn, but just an update about

my life and a little bit more information.
