So have you ever known two people

that just always like being together?

They like all the same music,

they like all the same television shows.

Whenever they're in the same place,

they're talking and laughing.

In English, we would say they're like two peas in a pod.

So in English, if you say that two people

are like two peas in a pod, it means they're like

that little round, green vegetables, the pea,

and peas come in pods.

I actually know a few people in my life who,

I know that I have a friend,

I thought, since we were talking about vegetables,

I should talk about the English phrase cool beans.

Cool beans is kind of a slang term,

and it basically means wow or cool.

If someone tells you a story,

and it's something cool or interesting,

you could respond by saying, "Wow, cool beans."

Or you could say, "Cool beans, that's really neat for you."

So once again, if you say that two people

are like two peas in a pod,

it means that they are very similar.

They probably smile and laugh at all the same things,

and when they are together,

they get along really, really well.

And if someone says something to you in English

that you think is neat or cool,

you could say, "Cool beans."
