Of course. My first headline is from at home, from the BBC. It says:

'Bursts' – breaks suddenly. Now, this is a verb, isn't it Tom?

The verb is 'to burst' – B-U-R-S-T –which means to break suddenly.

And we can use this in fixed expressions.

What can you tell us about this one, Tom?

And 'devastating' defines – excuse me...
