First, I will say the sentence quickly. So really listen well.

‘I make live videos where I live.’ Okay, let me show you the sentence.

‘I make live videos where I live.’ What two words go in the blanks here? 

'나는 내가 사는 곳에서 라이브 비디오를 만든다.' 여기 빈칸에 들어갈 두 단어는?

Can you tell me? Well, the answer is 

말해 줄래? 글쎄요, 대답은

‘I make live videos where I live.’

I know. I know. They look the same but they're two different words. 

알아요. 알아요. 같아 보이지만 두 개의 다른 단어입니다.

Let me tell you why.

Let's have a look at our two words in more detail.

두 단어를 좀 더 자세히 살펴봅시다.

We have ‘live’ and ‘live’.

우리는 '라이브'와 '라이브'가 있습니다.

The spelling is the same but the pronunciation and the meaning is different.

철자는 같지만 발음과 의미가 다릅니다.

It's a heteronym.

이명입니다.

What's a heteronym?

이명이 무엇입니까?

It's where you have two words … where the spelling is the same but the  meanings and the pronunciations are different. 

철자가 같지만 의미와 발음이 다른 두 단어가 있는 곳입니다.

Let's have a look at the meaning and the pronunciation of our two words. 

두 단어의 의미와 발음을 살펴봅시다.

I’ll start with ‘live’.

'라이브'부터 시작하겠습니다.

‘live’ is an adjective.

'라이브'는 형용사입니다.

It means something that is happening right now.

지금 일어나고 있는 일을 의미합니다.

You can go and see it with your own eyes.

가셔서 직접 눈으로 확인하실 수 있습니다.

Like a broadcast or a concert.

방송이나 콘서트처럼.

Here are two sentences to show you this.

이것을 보여주는 두 문장이 있습니다.

The first one, ‘The live debate is happening right now.’ 

첫 번째는 '지금 라이브 토론이 진행 중입니다.'입니다.

The live debate is happening right this second. You can go and watch it. 

실시간 토론이 바로 지금 진행 중입니다. 가서 볼 수 있습니다.

And number two. ‘I like watching live streams on the internet.’ 

그리고 두 번째. '나는 인터넷에서 라이브 스트림을 보는 것을 좋아합니다.'

I like watching people broadcast themselves on  the internet live right now as it's happening. 

나는 사람들이 인터넷에서 실시간으로 방송하는 것을 보는 것을 좋아합니다 .

Our second word is ‘live’.

‘live’ is a verb.

It means to make your home somewhere.

And I have two sentences to show you this.

It's where I live. The country where my home is.
