It's the difference between 'than' t-h-a-n and 'then' t-h-e-n.

Es la diferencia entre 'than' t-h-a-n y 'then' t-h-e-n.

Now as you can hear the sound  is practically the same,

but the spelling is different.

pero la ortografía es diferente.

so you need to know the difference.

Let's take a look at two example sentences.

Echemos un vistazo a dos oraciones de ejemplo.

First we have, "John is taller than Sarah."

Primero tenemos, "Juan es más alto que Sara".

So in this case, we have 'than' t-h-a-n.

Which is a word that we use for comparisons okay.
