In this video, we’re going to learn how to ask questions using ‘have’.

এই ভিডিওতে, আমরা শিখব কিভাবে 'have' ব্যবহার করে প্রশ্ন করতে হয়।

Okay, let’s look at the board.

ঠিক আছে, এর বোর্ড তাকান.

When we are talking about ‘he’, ‘she’ or ‘it’,

যখন আমরা 'সে', 'সে' বা 'এটি' সম্পর্কে কথা বলি,

the question always begins with ‘does’.

তখন প্রশ্নটি সর্বদা 'করেন' দিয়ে শুরু হয়।

After the pronoun, we have ‘have’.

সর্বনামের পরে 'have' আছে।

So, we say, “Does he have…”

সুতরাং, আমরা বলি, "তার কি আছে..."

“Does she have…”

"তার কি আছে..."

“Does it have…”

"এটা কি আছে..."

Now, let’s practice with this question and let’s look at the two answers.

Okay.

ঠিক আছে.

“Does he have a friend?”

"তার কি কোন বন্ধু আছে?"

If the answer is ‘yes’, we say “yes”,

যদি উত্তর 'হ্যাঁ' হয়, আমরা বলি "হ্যাঁ",

in the blank, we match… this has to be the same.

খালি জায়গায়, আমরা মিল... এটি একই হতে হবে।

“Yes, he does.”

"হ্যা সে করে."

If the answer is ‘no’.

যদি উত্তর হয় 'না'।

“No, he doesn’t.”

"না, সে করে না।"

“Does he have a friend?”

"তার কি কোন বন্ধু আছে?"

“Yes, she does.”

"হ্যাঁ সে করেছে."

“No, she doesn’t.”

"না, সে করে না।"

“Does it have a friend?”

"এর কি কোন বন্ধু আছে?"

“Yes, it does.”

"হ্যাঁ এটা করে."

“No, it doesn’t.”

"না, এটা হয় না।"

Okay, so remember ‘does…have’.

ঠিক আছে, তাই মনে রাখবেন 'does...have'.

Now, when we use ‘you’, ‘we’, ‘they’, we use ‘do’ in the front.

এখন, যখন আমরা 'আপনি', 'আমরা', 'তারা' ব্যবহার করি, আমরা সামনে 'ডু' ব্যবহার করি।

And ‘have’ after.

এবং 'have' পরে.

“Do you have a friend?”

"তোমার কি কোন বন্ধু আছে?"

“Do we have a friend?”

“Do they have a friend?”

And again, we have two answers.

We finish with ‘do’ or ‘don’t’.

So, “Do you have a friend?”

“Yes, I do.”

Right, the question is asking ‘you’, so, you say “I do.”

Or, “No, I don’t.”

অথবা, "না, আমি করি না।"

“Do we have a friend?”

“Yes, we do.”

Or, “No, we don’t.”

অথবা, "না, আমরা করি না।"

And last.

এবং শেষে.

“Do they have a friend?”

"তাদের কি কোন বন্ধু আছে?"

“Yes, they do.”

"হ্যাঁ তারা করে."

“No, they don’t.”

"না, তারা করে না।"

Okay, let’s move on to some more practice.

Okay, so remember when we ask a question, we begin with ‘do’ or ‘does’.

In the front, should we use ‘does’ or ‘do’?

The answer is ‘does’.

“Does she have a dress?”

When we answer, “Yes…”

যখন আমরা উত্তর দিই, "হ্যাঁ..."

What do we put here?

আমরা এখানে কী রাখব?

Remember, we put the pronoun ‘she’.

মনে রাখবেন, আমরা সর্বনাম 'সে' রাখি।

And the answer ‘does’.

“Yes, she does.”

"হ্যাঁ সে করেছে."

The next one.

We have ‘they’.

Okay, ‘have’ is again the same.

Okay, what goes in the front?

For ‘they’, we use ‘do’.

'তাদের' জন্য, আমরা 'করুন' ব্যবহার করি।

“Do they have a bicycle?”

"তাদের কি সাইকেল আছে?"

This time the answer is negative.

এবার উত্তর নেতিবাচক।

“No, they….”

"তারা না…."

What do we put here?

আমরা এখানে কি রাখব?

It doesn’t make sense to say, “do”.

এটা বলার মানে হয় না, "করুন"।

Right?

ঠিক?

“No, they do.”

"না, তারা করে।"

That’s wrong.

ওইটা ভুল.

It’s a negative.

এটা একটি নেতিবাচক.

We have to say, “No, they don’t.”

আমাদের বলতে হবে, "না, তারা তা করে না।"

“No, they do not.”

"না তারা না."

Okay, and again, we have ‘have’ over here.

ঠিক আছে, এবং আবার, আমাদের এখানে 'আছে'।

“It…”

"এটি..."

Which one, ‘do’ or ‘does’?

কোনটি, 'করুন' বা 'করেন'?

The answer is ‘does’.

“Does it have a ball?”

Again, the answer is negative.

“No, it…does not.”

or the contraction, “No, it doesn’t.”

So that was our practice for asking questions with ‘have’.
