Hi, everybody.

नमस्कार मंडळी.

In this video, we’re going to learn how to ask questions using ‘have’.

या व्हिडिओमध्ये आपण 'have' वापरून प्रश्न कसे विचारायचे ते शिकणार आहोत.

Okay, let’s look at the board.

ठीक आहे, चला बोर्ड पाहूया.

When we are talking about ‘he’, ‘she’ or ‘it’,

जेव्हा आपण 'तो', 'ती' किंवा 'तो' बद्दल बोलत असतो, तेव्हा

the question always begins with ‘does’.

प्रश्न नेहमी 'करतो' ने सुरू होतो.

After the pronoun, we have ‘have’.

सर्वनामानंतर आपल्याकडे 'आहे'.

So, we say, “Does he have…”

तर, आपण म्हणतो, “त्याच्याकडे आहे का…”

“Does she have…”

“तिच्याकडे आहे का…”

“Does it have…”

“त्याच्याकडे आहे का…”

Now, let’s practice with this question and let’s look at the two answers.

Okay.

ठीक आहे.

“Does he have a friend?”

"त्याला मित्र आहे का?"

If the answer is ‘yes’, we say “yes”,

जर उत्तर 'होय' असेल, तर आम्ही "होय" म्हणतो,

in the blank, we match… this has to be the same.

रिकाम्यामध्ये, आम्ही जुळतो… हे समान असले पाहिजे.

“Yes, he does.”

"होय तो करतो."

If the answer is ‘no’.

“No, he doesn’t.”

"नाही, तो नाही."

“Does he have a friend?”

“Yes, she does.”

"हो ती करते."

“No, she doesn’t.”

"नाही, ती करत नाही."

“Does it have a friend?”

"याला मित्र आहे का?"

“Yes, it does.”

"हो, ते करते."

“No, it doesn’t.”

"नाही, तसे होत नाही."

Okay, so remember ‘does…have’.

ठीक आहे, म्हणून 'आहे...आहे' हे लक्षात ठेवा.

Now, when we use ‘you’, ‘we’, ‘they’, we use ‘do’ in the front.

आता जेव्हा आपण 'तुम्ही', 'आम्ही', 'ते' वापरतो तेव्हा समोर 'डू' वापरतो.

And ‘have’ after.

आणि नंतर 'आहे'.

“Do you have a friend?”

“Do we have a friend?”

And again, we have two answers.

We finish with ‘do’ or ‘don’t’.

So, “Do you have a friend?”

Right, the question is asking ‘you’, so, you say “I do.”

Or, “No, I don’t.”

“Do we have a friend?”

And last.

Okay, so remember when we ask a question, we begin with ‘do’ or ‘does’.

When we answer, “Yes…”

What do we put here?

Remember, we put the pronoun ‘she’.

And the answer ‘does’.

“Yes, she does.”

The next one.

We have ‘they’.

Okay, what goes in the front?

For ‘they’, we use ‘do’.

'ते' साठी आपण 'डू' वापरतो.

“Do they have a bicycle?”

"त्यांच्याकडे सायकल आहे का?"

This time the answer is negative.

यावेळी उत्तर नकारार्थी आहे.

“No, they….”

"नाही, ते...."

What do we put here?

आम्ही येथे काय ठेवू?

It doesn’t make sense to say, “do”.

"कर" म्हणण्यात अर्थ नाही.

Right?

बरोबर?

“No, they do.”

"नाही, ते करतात."

That’s wrong.

ते चुकेचा आहे.

It’s a negative.

हे एक नकारात्मक आहे.

We have to say, “No, they don’t.”

आम्हाला म्हणावे लागेल, "नाही, ते नाही."

“No, they do not.”

"नाही, ते करत नाहीत."

Okay, and again, we have ‘have’ over here.

ठीक आहे, आणि पुन्हा, आमच्याकडे इथे 'आहे'.

“It…”

“ते…”

Which one, ‘do’ or ‘does’?

The answer is ‘does’.

Again, the answer is negative.

So that was our practice for asking questions with ‘have’.
