In this video, we’re going to learn how to ask questions using ‘have’.

In questo video impareremo a fare domande usando "have".

Okay, let’s look at the board.

Ok, diamo un'occhiata alla lavagna.

When we are talking about ‘he’, ‘she’ or ‘it’,

Quando parliamo di "lui", "lei" o "esso",

the question always begins with ‘does’.

la domanda inizia sempre con "fa".

After the pronoun, we have ‘have’.

Dopo il pronome, abbiamo "avere".

So, we say, “Does he have…”

Quindi, diciamo: "Lui ha..."

“Does she have…”

"Lei ha..." "

“Does it have…”

Ha..."

Now, let’s practice with this question and let’s look at the two answers.

If the answer is ‘yes’, we say “yes”,

Okay, so remember ‘does…have’.

Now, when we use ‘you’, ‘we’, ‘they’, we use ‘do’ in the front.

And ‘have’ after.

“Do we have a friend?”

For ‘they’, we use ‘do’.

This time the answer is negative.

“No, they….”

"No loro…."

What do we put here?

It doesn’t make sense to say, “do”.

Non ha senso dire "fare".

Right?

Giusto?

“No, they do.”

"No, lo fanno."

That’s wrong.

È sbagliato.

It’s a negative.

È negativo.

We have to say, “No, they don’t.”

Dobbiamo dire: "No, non lo fanno".

“No, they do not.”

"No, non lo fanno."

Okay, and again, we have ‘have’ over here.

Ok, e ancora, abbiamo "avere" qui.

Which one, ‘do’ or ‘does’?

The answer is ‘does’.

Again, the answer is negative.

“No, it…does not.”

or the contraction, “No, it doesn’t.”

o la contrazione "No, non è così".
