English Conversation Practice | Seeing a Friend

Let's practice English conversation. I've just run  into somebody I know on the street.

영어회화를 연습해 봅시다. 방금 길에서 아는 사람을 만났습니다.

Marcia, hey.  

마르시아, 이봐.

Oh my goodness. Hi, how are you?

맙소사. 안녕하세요. 잘 지내죠?

Doing pretty well. The kids are both in school this fall so we’ve entered a whole new world.

잘하고 있습니다. 아이들은 이번 가을에 둘 다 학교에 다니기 때문에 완전히 새로운 세계에 들어섰습니다.

Are they liking it?

그들은 그것을 좋아합니까?

Yeah, for the most part, and it gives me a lot more flexibility with things like work and errands.

예, 대부분의 경우 업무 및 심부름과 같은 일에 훨씬 더 많은 유연성을 제공합니다.

Sounds like you're finding your new groove.

새로운 그루브를 찾고 있는 것 같습니다.

Finding your new groove means getting used to new routines.

새로운 그루브를 찾는다는 것은 새로운 루틴에 익숙해지는 것을 의미합니다.

How about you?

당신은 어떤가요?

Oh, same old same old.

아, 똑같은 똑같은 똑같은 낡은.

This phrase means nothing is new. The routine hasn't changed.   

이 문구는 새로운 것이 없다는 의미입니다. 루틴은 변경되지 않았습니다.

But we did get a puppy this summer so that sort of spiced things up.

하지만 이번 여름에 우리는 강아지를 키웠기 때문에 그런 종류의 일이 흥미로워졌습니다.

If something spices things up it means, makes life a little bit more interesting.   

어떤 것이 흥미를 돋운다면 그것은 삶을 조금 더 흥미롭게 만든다는 것을 의미합니다.

Oh I'm sure the kids are loving that.

오 확실히 아이들이 좋아하네요. 전화

Let me get your number and we can meet up for  a coffee. I'm on my way to an appointment right now.

번호를 알려주시면 만나서 커피를 마실 수 있습니다 . 지금 약속 장소로 가는 중입니다.

I am so glad we ran into each other.

우리가 서로 만나서 정말 기뻐요.

By the way when you run into someone that means you saw them on the street, not that you actually ran into them.

그런데 누군가를 만났다는 것은 실제로 마주쳤다는 것이 아니라 길에서 본 것을 의미합니다.
