so let's get started so the first word that  we're going to learn today is slice okay

ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ

ਅੱਜ ਹੈ

ਟੁਕੜਾ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ

ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਵੇਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ

ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ

all right to slice something is to cut food into  thin flat pieces okay you're slicing it usually  

ਵੇਖੋ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੀ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ

ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਣ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕੱਟਣਾ ਹੈ

ਵਿੱਚ ਫਲੈਟ ਦੇ ਟੁਕੜੇ ਠੀਕ ਹਨ

the cut is long when you cut it okay it's a long  slice so that's why we call it a slice actually  

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਸਰ ਕੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ

ਲੰਮਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਦੇ ਹੋ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਲੰਮਾ ਹੈ

and for example here's how you  can use it right it's a verb

so you could say i sliced the tomato in  half and slice and cut are fairly similar

you can think of the cut is very it's  longer and the pieces are long and thin

all right let's look at the next word the next  word is dice okay sounds a little bit similar to  

ਆਓ ਅਗਲੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੀਏ

ਅਗਲਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਪਾਸਾ ਹੈ

slice but this one's different you also might be  thinking of dice right the the small cubes that  

ਠੀਕ ਹੈ

ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਟੁਕੜਾ

ਪਰ ਇਹ ਇਕ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ

you can play games with no this is a verb to  dice okay and if you can see the picture there

you can see that the cutting style  is a little bit different than slice

small square pieces okay when you're dicing  something they should be the same size as a

ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ ਉਹ

ਇਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ

small dice it's a small square or cubed  piece let's see it used in a sentence here  

ਅਕਾਰ

ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੋਟਾ ਪਾਸਾ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਵਰਗ ਜਾਂ ਘਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ

ਆਓ ਵੇਖੀਏ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ

for example i diced the meat means that you  cut the meat into very small square pieces

all right now let's look at our next word our  next word is chop chop also it's a verb okay  

ਹੁਣੇ ਆਓ ਆਪਾਂ ਅਗਲਾ ਵੇਖੀਏ

ਸ਼ਬਦ

ਸਾਡਾ ਅਗਲਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹੈ ਚੋਪ ਚੋਪ

and you can see by the picture here this is a chop

ਇਹ ਵੀ ਇਕ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ

ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵੇਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ

chop okay it means to to cut  something into small pieces um  

ਇੱਕ ਚੋਪ ਹੈ

ਕੱਟੋ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਇਸਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਹੈ

chop the the verb the action is just one action  okay one time chop but if you chop many times  

ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਟੇ ਟੁਕੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੱਟਣ ਲਈ

ਕਿਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟੋ

ਸਿਰਫ ਇਕ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਕੱਟਣਾ

chop chop chop chop chop chop then you are cutting  something into small pieces okay so for example  

ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਕੱਟੋ ਤਾਂ ਕੱਟੋ

ੋਹਰ ੋਹਰ ੋਹਰ ੋਹਰ

ਫਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੁਝ ਕੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ

ਛੋਟੇ ਟੁਕੜੇ

okay it says right here you can use it like this  

ਠੀਕ ਹੈ, ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਲਈ

ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਇਥੇ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ

you need to chop the vegetables it means that  you need to cut the vegetables into small pieces  

ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ

ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਬਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ ਇਸਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਹੈ

ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ

all right let's look at our next word our  next word is mince hmm okay it's another verb  

ਸਬਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਟੇ ਟੁਕੜਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ

ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਆਓ ਅਗਲੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੀਏ

ਸਾਡਾ ਅਗਲਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹੈ

here you can see it mince is a little bit  different than the other words that we're  

ਬਿੰਦਾ ਹੰਮ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੈ

ਇੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਇਹ ਬਾਰੀਕ ਹੈ

ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਥੋੜਾ ਵੱਖਰਾ

learning today mints is special okay and mince  means to cut food into small pieces usually in a

machine you don't use a knife for this you use  a machine and you can see the pieces are very

ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਚਾਕੂ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਰਤਦੇ

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ

very small okay so if you need to mince some meat  it should be very small pieces okay so for example  

ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਟੁਕੜੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹਨ

cube means to cut something into cubes well what  is a cube it's like a dice it's a square okay

but when you cube something the  pieces can be big right when you dice

something the pieces should be small the same  size as a dice so that's the difference between
