So in this video, we'll go from the moment I wake up

until about the end of my work day.

The very first thing I do every day

रोज़ सबसे पहले मैं जो काम करता हूँ वो है जागना

is I wake up and then I usually press

और उसके बाद मैं अपनी अलार्म घड़ी में स्नूज़ का बटन दबाता हूँ।

the snooze button on my alarm clock.

When you wake up, it means you go from

जागने का मतलब होता है कि आप सोने की अवस्था से जाग जाते हैं

being asleep to being awake,

but when my alarm first goes off,

लेकिन जब मेरा अलार्म पहली बार बजता है

I usually wanna sleep just a little bit more.

So I'm gonna do that right now.

So the second thing I do in the morning is I get up.

When you get up, it means you actually get out of bed.

So I think it's time for me to get up.

मुझे लगता है कि मेरा उठने का वक़्त हो गया है।

The first thing I like to do after I get up

उठने के बाद मुझे सबसे पहले अपना बिस्तर ठीक करना अच्छा लगता है।

is I like to make the bed.

It's always nice when you have your bed made.

अच्छा लगता है जब आपका बिस्तर सही से लगा हो।

So after I get up and after I make the bed,

उठने और बिस्तर ठीक करने के बाद

I usually use the bathroom.

मैं आमतौर पर बाथरूम जाता हूँ।

This room behind me is our bathroom

मेरे पीछे वाला कमरा हमारा बाथरूम है।

and in English you can say this a number of ways.

अंग्रेज़ी में आप इसे कई तरह से कह सकते हैं।

You can say, "I use the bathroom,"

आप कह सकते हैं, "I use the bathroom"।

you can say, "I go to the bathroom,"

आप कह सकते हैं, "I go to the bathroom"।

you can also in Canadian English say, "I use the washroom,"

कनेडियाई अंग्रेज़ी में आप "I use the washroom"

or, "I go to the washroom."

या "I go to the washroom" भी कह सकते हैं।

This is the one part of the lesson though

So the next thing I do every day is make breakfast.

अगला काम जो मैं हर रोज़ करता हूँ वो है नाश्ता बनाना।

I usually fry two eggs in a frying pan,

आमतौर पर मैं तवे पर दो अंडे सेंकता हूँ,

I usually make myself two pieces of toast in the toaster,

टोस्टर में दो टोस्ट तैयार करता हूँ

and I make myself a mug of coffee.

और अपने लिये एक कप कॉफ़ी बनाता हूँ।

That is a pretty standard Bob the Canadian breakfast.

ये रहा बॉब द कनेडियन का आम नाश्ता।

So after I make breakfast, I eat breakfast.

नाश्ता तैयार करने के बाद मैं नाश्ता करता हूँ।

There's actually two ways to say this, though, in English.

अंग्रेज़ी में इसे कहने के हालाँकि दो तरीके हैं।

You can say, "I eat breakfast,"

आप कह सकते हैं, "I eat breakfast"

but you can also say, "I have breakfast."

या आप "I have breakfast" भी कह सकते हैं।

So I eat my egg on toast

मैं अपना अंडे का टोस्ट खाता हूँ

and I drink my coffee from my favorite mug.

और अपने पसंदीदा कप से कॉफ़ी पीता हूँ।

This actually says, "Love the World, Bob the Canadian."

This is from a friend of mine named Miroslav.

But again, every day I eat breakfast or I have breakfast.

The next thing I do is I use my computer

अगला काम जो मैं करता हूँ वो है कंप्यूटर चलाना जिसमें मैं अपने ई-मेल चैक करता हूँ और ख़बरें पढ़ता हूँ।

to check my email and to read the news.

I like to check my email every morning

हर सुबह मुझे अपने ई-मेल चैक करना अच्छा लगता है

and I like to read the news every morning.

और हर सुबह ख़बरें पढ़ना भी मुझे पसंद है।

I also spend a little bit of time

मैं थोड़ा-बहुत समय अपने सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट चैक करने में भी बिताता हूँ जैसे कि फ़ेसबुक, इंस्टाग्राम और टिक टॉक।

checking my social media accounts

like Facebook and Instagram and TikTok.

I probably spend a little bit too much time doing that.

शायद मैं इसमें कुछ ज़्यादा ही समय बिता देता हूँ।

So this next part of my day you are not invited to

दिन के इस हिस्से में मैं आपको अपने साथ नहीं बुलाऊँगा

because every day I take a shower.

क्योंकि मैं हर रोज़ इस समय नहाता हूँ।

There are two ways to say this, though, in English.

हालाँकि इसे अंग्रेज़ी में कहने के दो तरीके हैं।

You can say, "Every day I take a shower."

आप कह सकते हैं, "Everyday I take a shower"।

You can also say, "Every day I have a shower."

आप "Everyday I have a shower" भी कह सकते हैं।

I usually take a shower every day before I go to work.

आमतौर पर मैं काम पर जाने से पहले हर रोज़ नहाता हूँ।

After my shower, I dry off with a towel

नहाने के बाद मैं तौलिये से पोछता हूँ

and then I put on some deodorant.

After that, I get dressed.

I decide what I'm going to wear for the day

and then I get dressed and I get ready to go to work.

After I get dressed, I go back to the bathroom

and if I need to, I will shave,

और अगर ज़रूरत हो तो मैं दाढ़ी बनाता हूँ

but I don't actually shave every day.

लेकिन मैं हर रोज़ दाढ़ी नहीं बनाता।

But if it's a day where I need to shave, I shave.

लेकिन अगर किसी दिन दाढ़ी बनाना ज़रूरी हो तो मैं दाढ़ी बनाता हूँ।

After that, I get some toothpaste and my toothbrush

उसके बाद मैं मंजन और ब्रश लेकर

and I will brush my teeth.

So the next thing I do is I come back to the kitchen

अगला काम जो मैं करता हूँ वो है रसोई पर वापस आकर लंच बनाना।

and I make a lunch.

I don't like to buy lunch every day.

मुझे हर रोज़ लंच बाहर से लेना अच्छा नहीं लगता।

I don't like to spend money.

मुझे पैसे ख़र्च करना पसंद नहीं।

So I usually make a sandwich and I grab a banana,

तो मैं एक सैंडविच बनाता हूँ और साथ में एक केला ले लेता हूँ

and this will be my lunch for today.

और ये होगा मेरा आज का लंच।

So in English, we would say, "Every day I make a lunch."

अंग्रेज़ी में हम कहेंगे, "Everyday I make a lunch"।

We can also, though, say, "Every day I pack a lunch."

हालाँकि हम "Everyday I pack a lunch" भी कह सकते हैं।

When you pack a lunch, it means that you

put your lunch in a nice lunch bag like this one.

So every day I make a lunch, and every day I pack a lunch.

The next thing I do every day is I grab my things.

अगला काम जो मैं रोज़ करता हूँ वो है अपना सामान साथ लेना।

When I say I grab my things, it means that I grab my keys,

I grab my phone, I grab my wallet, I grab my laptop,

and I grab the lunch that I made because I'm just about

ready to head out the door and go to work.

So the next thing I do in my daily routine is I go to work.

Every day at about 7:30 Monday through Friday, I go to work.

हर रोज़ तकरीबन 7:30 बजे सोमवार से लेकर शुक्रवार तक मैं काम पर जाता हूँ।

If you were someone who was in school though,

लेकिन अगर आप स्कूल जाते हैं

you would say, "I go to school."

तो आप कहेंगे, "मैं स्कूल जाता हूँ"।

If you are someone who stays home,

अगर आप घर पर रहते हैं

at this point in your routine you might stay home.

तो शायद आप इस समय अपनी दिनचर्या में घर पर रहें।

But for me, every day at this time, I go to work.

लेकिन मैं हर रोज़ इस समय काम पर जाता हूँ।

One of the things I like about my drive to work

अपने काम पर जाने के दौरान मुझे ये अच्छा लगता है कि

is that there are no traffic jams, ever.

कभी भी कोई ट्रैफ़िक जाम नहीं होता।

It takes me only 10 minutes to drive

from my house to the school that I work at.

When I get to work, I take off my jacket

and I hang up my jacket,

and then I say hi to all the other

Hi everybody.

I put my lunch in the fridge,

I teach my first class of the day,

फिर मैं दिन की पहली कक्षा पढ़ाता हूँ

which is grade nine French, this is our textbook,

जो है नौवीं की फ़्रेंच, ये है हमारी पढ़ने की किताब,

to a lot of students who are usually

very interested in learning a new language.

Every day after teaching my first class,

I go to my teacher work area

and I grade student work with my red pen

और विद्यार्थियों के काम को अपने लाल पैन से जाँचता हूँ।

and I plan my lessons for my next two classes.

फिर मैं अपनी अगली दो कक्षाओं के लिये तैयारी करता हूँ।

After that it's lunch time,

इसके बाद लंच का समय हो जाता है

so I eat my lunch and I talk to the other teachers

तो मैं अपना लंच करता हूँ और दूसरे शिक्षकों से बात करता हूँ

who are in the staffroom eating their lunch as well.

जो स्टाफ़रूम में अपना लंच कर रहे हैं।

Hey, did you see that hockey game the other night?

सुनो, तुमने उस रात वो हॉकी का मैच देखा था?

I know this doesn't sound very Canadian

मैं जानता हूँ कनाडा में ऐसा कम ही होता है

but I don't actually watch hockey.

पर दरअसल मैं हॉकी नहीं देखता।

After lunch, I teach my next class of the day,

लंच के बाद मैं दिन की अगली क्लास पढ़ाता हूँ

which is computer class.

जो कम्प्यूटर की क्लास है।

In computer class, I teach students how to make video games.

कम्प्यूटर की क्लास में मैं विद्यार्थियों को वीडियो गेम्स बनाना सिखाता हूँ।

It is a really, really fun class.

बहुत ही मज़ेदार क्लास होती है।

And then I teach my last class of the day,

उसके बाद मैं दिन की आख़िरी क्लास पढ़ाता हूँ

which is grade 10 French.

जो कि है दसवीं की फ़्रेंच।

This is our textbook.

ये है हमारी पढ़ने की किताब।

And that's pretty much the end of my workday.

I usually put on my jacket at the end of the day

and I say bye, bye everybody, to all of my colleagues.

और अपने हमकारों से अलविदा कहता हूँ।
