Learn How to Sponsor English with Jennifer and Get Thank-You Perks

Hello everyone! It's Jennifer. I'd like to share some exciting

developments on my channel. It's a new year,

so it seems like an ideal time to try out new ways of interacting with you, my viewers.

You might have noticed that some channels on YouTube now allow

sponsorships. Well, recently my channel was selected to test out this beta feature.

That means this feature is still very new and very much in development,

but I find it exciting to experiment and see how sponsorships can work for you and for me.

I teach because I love to teach. I enjoy helping people learn English.

I've never asked for payments from my viewers,

and I know not everyone is in a position to make a financial contribution.

But I'm hoping that some of you are.

The monthly contribution varies from country to country, and I need to explain that

sponsorships are not available in all countries at this time. As I said, this feature is in beta.

Sponsorships can be a way to show your support of my work. As my way of saying thank you for your sponsorship,

I plan to offer some perks.

Perks are special treats. They're extra things that you can get.

If you choose to become a sponsor, you'll get a special badge next to your name.

That badge will appear on every comment you post on my channel.

In addition, I plan to thank my sponsors with an on-screen, in-video credit once a month.

I'll also be sharing at least two sponsor-only posts on my community tab each week.

I'll still have public posts, but my sponsors will get at least two extra ones each week

These posts may be language tips,

discussion questions, short quizzes, or just something I'd like to share from my day.

The most valuable perk I'm offering to my sponsors is a monthly livestream. This live session will be

approximately 30 minutes long, and it will be a chance to get answers to some of your language questions.

You can post some of your questions in advance on our sponsor-only community tab.

I'll give my explanations during the live sessions, and you can ask additional questions through the live chat

I'll also plan a short activity for each livestream with my sponsors.

That could be a grammar exercise, some pronunciation

practice, like a listen repeat drill, or a short dictation.

So to recap, you'll soon see a sponsorship button on my channel if this beta feature is available in your country.

If you choose to become a sponsor and make a monthly contribution to my channel, you'll get these

sponsor-only perks:

a special badge next to your name on every comment you post on my channel,

an on-screen, in video credit once a month,

at least two additional

So I'll still try to respond to all comments on my channel and on social media

And you should understand that small monthly payment doesn't go entirely to me. I'll only earn a percentage.

I've been able to continue teaching online for so long.

I earn money from my private lessons, from editing, and blogging, from my publications, and my YouTube channel.

I'd like to continue teaching online for many years to come and

having financial support from sponsors will help make that possible.
