Let's quickly review the structure.

To form the Past Simple, you need the subject and the past simple verb, which is either

Now let's talk about how to use these verb tenses, because native speakers use them in

This is the present perfect and it's used for an action that started in the past and

Now, it's important to note that you can use the present perfect or the present perfect
