And today we're going to learn the verb "to have".

今天我們要學的動詞是"to have"

Now, the difficult thing about this verb is, is has to change when we use he and she.

這個動詞難在於用在"he"以及"she"時，必須有所改變

the rest of them don't change when we use different pronouns.

當我們使用不同的代名詞時，其餘的都不需改變

I will conjugate the verb for you and you can just learn how to do this.

接著我會示範這個動詞的人稱變化，大家可以學起來

We say "I have"

我們說"I have"

"He" and "she"

"He"以及"She"

These are the ones that are important, we have to use "has".

這裡是很重要的一點，必須用"has"

Because these are singular people.

因為這些都是第三人稱單數

"I", "he", " she." Then we have

"I"、"he"、"she"，另外還有

"They" and the last one is "we".

"They"(他們)，接著是最後一個"we"(他們)

Both "they" and "we" are two people; at least two people.

"They"和"we"，都是至少雙人以上的複數

We can say, "they have"

我們會說"they have"

and "we have"

以及"we have"

ok? so the very.. difficult and most important ones to remember here

這裡要記住非常困難、且最重要的

are if it's a singular person, "he" or "she", we need to change the verb to "has".

如果人數是第三人稱單數，不論是他或她，動詞必須改為"has"

The next thing is the negative form of these verbs.

接著來說這些動詞的否定型式

In the negative, we have to use the word in English "don't".

在否定句型的情況，我們要使用英文中的 "don't"

So, we're going to say:

所以，我們可以說

"I don't have"

"I don't have"(我沒有)

For example, "I don't have a cat"

例如，"I don't have a cat"(我沒有養貓)

"I don't have a dog"

"I don't have a dog"(我沒有養狗)

"They", we can use the same word, "don't have".

"They"可以用一樣的否定詞， "don't have"

So we can say: "they don't have any hamburgers"

所以我們可以說："they don't have any hamburgers"(他們沒有任何的漢堡)

And again we because we use have we can say "We don't have".

同樣的，"We"，因為也是使用"have"所以可以說"We don't have"

For this one unfortunately I can't say "He don't has".

這裡不幸的是，我不能說"He don't has"

That would be too easy for you guys. We actually have to change this word

And we actually have to - they're coming for me "oh no"! Help

when we use the negative form, we use the verb have for all of them. The one that changes is don't, doesn't, and don't.

當我們使用否定句時，一律皆使用have。唯一的變化是don't與 doesn't的不同

This is the very - oh no they're coming for me again-

這是非常的----喔不，他們又回來找我了

This is. Nope they're gone. Nope they're here.

這是--不，他們消失了。不，他們又來了。

"He doesn't have"

"He doesn't have"(他沒有)

"She doesn't have"

"She doesn't have"(她沒有)

"I don't have" "They don't have" "We don't have"

"I don't have" "They don't have" "We don't have"

When you're dealing with have and has

The other part of this word is the past

When we use "had," we don't have to change it with the different pronouns

Basic use of verbs: to have, to had

When we change the past of had into the negative is where it becomes a little difficult

當我們將過去式的had改為否定句，就有點難了

Back in old old school english

and I think a lot of the times in Britain and in British english

You can say

They had not. We had not.

But this is very unnatural for us

但這種說法對我們而言很不自然

us being people from Canada and people from America

我們身為加拿大人和美國人

And modern day english

我們說現代英語

We just don't use "I had not." It's very Shakespearean. If you're into Shakespeare you'd know this

我們不會說 "I had not."，這很莎士比亞，如果你看過莎士比亞就會懂我的意思

I had to not eat in that...which is kinda weird. So

"I had not eaten that"(這句特別學了英式發音)...這會有點怪，所以

When we use had

We have to look at this verb again

我們得再看一下句子裡的動詞

Who knows what the negative and the past really of doesn't is?
