Gramática Básica del Inglés - Have, Has, Had. (Tener, tiene y tuvo)

Ahora vamos a iniciar aprendiendo el verbo "to have" (tener)

And today we're going to learn the verb "to have".

Ahora, lo mas complicado al usar este verbo es tener en cuenta que cambia cuando se usa "he" y "she", (él o ella) del resto de los pronombre se mantiene

Now, the difficult thing about this verb is, is has to change when we use he and she.

the rest of them don't change when we use different pronouns.

Voy a conjugar el verbo para ti y luego tu puedes solo aprender como se hace.

Nosotros decimos "I have(yo tengo)"

We say "I have"

"He(él)" y "she(ella)"

"He" and "she"

Aqui es importante resaltar que en los pronombres personales (el y ella) en que se usa "has" (él + tiene)

These are the ones that are important, we have to use "has".

Por que son pronombres personales en singular

Because these are singular people.

"I", "he", "she". Entonces tenemos.

"I", "he", " she." Then we have

"Ellos"y el último es " nosotros "

"They" and the last one is "we".

Tanto "ellos" como "nosotros" esta referido a dos o mas personas. Por lo menos dos personas.

Both "they" and "we" are two people; at least two people.

Podemos decir, "ellos tienen"

y "nosotros tenemos"

We can say, "they have"

and "we have"

Okay? así que los muy ... difíciles y más importantes para recordar aquí

son los pronombres personales "he" y "she" donde cambia en verbo a " has"

are if it's a singular person, "he" or "she", we need to change the verb to "has".

Lo siguiente es la forma negativa de estos verbos.

The next thing is the negative form of these verbs.

In the negative, we have to use the word in English "don't".

En el negativo, tenemos que utilizar la palabra en inglés "don´t"

So, we're going to say:

Ahora vamos a ver

"I don't have"

usando la forma negativa, decimos "I don´t have"

For example, "I don't have a cat"

por ejemplo " no tengo un gato"

"I don't have a dog"

No tengo un perro

"They", we can use the same word, "don't have".

De igual manera para "They" seguida de la misma palabra "don´t have"

So we can say: "they don't have any hamburgers"

Podemos decir: "no tienen hamburguesas

And again we because we use have we can say "We don't have".

Así como podemos usar "tenemos "podemos decir "no tenemos"

For this one unfortunately I can't say "He don't has".

Pero desafortunadamente no podemos decir ""He don't has",

That would be too easy for you guys. We actually have to change this word

when we use the negative form, we use the verb have for all of them. The one that changes is don't, doesn't, and don't.

The other part of this word is the past

This is very easy and you're lucky for this one

When we use "had," we don't have to change it with the different pronouns

Cuando usamos "tuve" no tenemos que cambiar con los diferentes pronombres

So we can say I had, he and she had, they had, and we had

así que podemos decir I had (yo tuve) he and she had (ella y él tuvieron) They had (ellos tuvieron) we had (nosotros tuvimos)

They had a fire

ELLOS tuvieron un incendio

That's why the sirens are there

Basic use of verbs: to have, to had

When we change the past of had into the negative is where it becomes a little difficult

Cuando cambiamos el pasado de "had" (tuve) en negativo, es donde se complica un poco.

Back in old old school english

and I think a lot of the times in Britain and in British english

y creo que mucho en Inglaterra y en el Inglés británico

You can say

ELLA NO TUVO

They had not. We had not.

NO TUVIERON, NO TUVIMOS (they had not - we had not)

But this is very unnatural for us

pero no es común para nosotros

us being people from Canada and people from America

And modern day english

We just don't use "I had not." It's very Shakespearean. If you're into Shakespeare you'd know this

Simplemente no utilizamos el "I had not" Es muy de Shakespeare Si te gusta Shakespeare, probablemente lo conozcas.

I had to not eat in that...which is kinda weird. So

"I HAD NOT EATEN IN THAT... lo cual es raro, así que...

When we use had

cuando usamos "had" (tuve)

We have to look at this verb again

tenemos que observar este verbo de nuevo

Who knows what the negative and the past really of doesn't is?

¿Quién sabe lo que el pasado y el negativo de la contracción "doesn´t" significa?

The answer is didn't.

La respuesta es: didn´t (no tuve)

So for this one we're going to say I

For all of these, we do not need to change it.
