Basic English Grammar: Have, Has, Had

And today we're going to learn the verb "to have".

ហើយថ្ងៃនេះយើងនឹងរៀនកិរិយាស័ព្ទ "អោយមាន" ។

Now, the difficult thing about this verb is, is has to change when we use he and she.

I will conjugate the verb for you and you can just learn how to do this.

We say "I have"

យើងនិយាយថា "ខ្ញុំមាន"

"He" and "she"

"គាត់" និង "នាង"

These are the ones that are important, we have to use "has".

ទាំងនេះគឺជាអ្វីដែលសំខាន់យើងត្រូវប្រើ "មាន" ។

Because these are singular people.

ពីព្រោះទាំងនេះជាមនុស្សឯកវចនៈ។

"I", "he", " she." Then we have

"ខ្ញុំ", "គាត់", "នាង" ។ បន្ទាប់មកយើងមាន

"They" and the last one is "we".

"ពួកគេ" និងអ្នកចុងក្រោយគឺ "យើង" ។

Both "they" and "we" are two people; at least two people.

ទាំងពីរ "ពួកគេ" និង "យើង" គឺជាមនុស្សពីរនាក់; យ៉ាងហោចណាស់ពីរនាក់។

We can say, "they have"

យើងអាចនិយាយបានថា "ពួកគេមាន"

and "we have"

និង "យើងមាន"

ok? so the very.. difficult and most important ones to remember here

យល់ព្រម? ដូច្នេះអ្នកដែលពិបាកនិងសំខាន់បំផុតដែលត្រូវចងចាំនៅទីនេះ

are if it's a singular person, "he" or "she", we need to change the verb to "has".

ប្រសិនបើវាជាមនុស្សឯកវចនៈ "គាត់" ឬ "នាង" យើងត្រូវផ្លាស់ប្តូរកិរិយាស័ព្ទទៅ "មាន" ។

The next thing is the negative form of these verbs.

រឿងបន្ទាប់គឺទម្រង់អវិជ្ជមាននៃកិរិយាស័ព្ទទាំងនេះ។

In the negative, we have to use the word in English "don't".

នៅក្នុងភាពអវិជ្ជមានយើងត្រូវប្រើពាក្យជាភាសាអង់គ្លេស "កុំ" ។

So, we're going to say:

ដូច្នេះយើងនឹងនិយាយថា៖

"I don't have"

"ខ្ញុំមិនមាន"

For example, "I don't have a cat"

ឧទាហរណ៍ "ខ្ញុំមិនមានឆ្មា"

"I don't have a dog"

"ខ្ញុំមិនមានឆ្កែទេ"

"They", we can use the same word, "don't have".

“ ពួកគេ” យើងអាចប្រើពាក្យតែមួយ“ មិនមាន” ។

So we can say: "they don't have any hamburgers"

ដូច្នេះយើងអាចនិយាយបានថា "ពួកគេមិនមានហាំប៊ឺហ្គឺទេ"

And again we because we use have we can say "We don't have".

ហើយម្តងទៀតដោយសារយើងប្រើយើងអាចនិយាយថា "យើងមិនមាន" ។

For this one unfortunately I can't say "He don't has".

សម្រាប់រឿងនេះជាអកុសលខ្ញុំមិនអាចនិយាយថា "គាត់មិនមាន" ទេ។

That would be too easy for you guys. We actually have to change this word

when we use the negative form, we use the verb have for all of them. The one that changes is don't, doesn't, and don't.

When you're dealing with have and has

The other part of this word is the past

When we use "had," we don't have to change it with the different pronouns

So we can say I had, he and she had, they had, and we had

Basic use of verbs: to have, to had

But this is very unnatural for us

We just don't use "I had not." It's very Shakespearean. If you're into Shakespeare you'd know this

I had to not eat in that...which is kinda weird. So

When we use had

So the more you study English the more you are going to learn there are things that are very difficult and hard and remember
