This confuses so many people, but once you know the rules,

That's a good quick fix to check,

We also use who in indirect questions

To check if you're using this relative clause correctly,

Now, let's move on to the topic of "whom".

This is the word that really gets people confused.

As we said, it's an object pronoun.

Let's take a look at a sentence with an object pronoun.

Now, if you wanted to know who her companion was,

Another example, whom would you prefer to have as manager?

How can you check if this is correct?

Well, by answering the question with another object pronoun.

You can't say I'd prefer to have she as a manager, it's her.

Now, in real life conversations,

Another thing about whom is that we should always use it

Well, that does sound very posh.

The second version of those questions

Let's take a closer look at who's with apostrophe S,

You should be able to tell from the context of a sentence
