I’ve got a splitting headache, I’m hoping  it doesn’t turn into a migraine. The last

I do love phrases like this, fit as a fiddle It reminds me of a song from the musical 'Singing In The Rain'.

* a check-up: a physical examination by a doctor * a chesty cough: a cough caused by congestion around the lungs

콧물: 코에서 액체가 나오는 것 * 인후염

: 삼킬 때 통증을 유발하는 염증

*  to go down with a cold / the flu: to become ill

* 근육을 당기다: 긴장하다 a muscle * cuts and bruises: 경미한 부상

* a heavy cold: a bad cold

* 긁힘 없이 탈출하다 / 긁히지 않았다 : 부상의 흔적 없이 사고나 사건에서 벗어나다.

* a runny nose: a nose that  has liquid coming out of it

* 식욕 부진: 배고프지 않다

* a sore throat:  inflammation that causes pain when swallowing

* to go private:  to choose to be treated by commercial healthcare  rather than by services offered by the state 

GP: 일반 개업의(가정의)

* 전문의 보기: 특정 분야를 전문으로 하는 사람 의학 분야

* 충전하다: 치아를 치료하다

* 치아를 빼다: 치아를 제거하다 *

* GP: General Practitioner (family doctor)

* See a specialist: someone who specialises in a certain area of medicine

약속을 하다: 의사를 만날 시간을 정하다

* 빠른 회복을 위해: 빨리 회복하다 from an disease

* to have a filling: to have a tooth repaired

* to phone in sick: 직장에 전화하여 질병으로 인해 출근하지 않을 것이라고 설명하는 것

* to have a tooth out: to have a tooth removed

* to make an appointment: to arrange a time to see the doctor

* to make a speedy recovery:  to recover quickly from an illness

* to phone in sick: to call work to explain you won’t be  attending work due to illness
