parents say like be good otherwise

you're not going to get any presents

yeah well it's the same basic thing but

that way the parents can say like Santa

Claus is watching you

so he's like it's like God yeah watching

you all the time and so you won't get

playstation 4 is you know if you're not

a good boy at school who usually people

don't care so much through the year then

in December he starts they start

worrying about Santa you know they write

a letter to Santa did you do that did

you write a letter to say night and did

didn't ask for world peace or anything i

think i did the same thing I remember

like writing down i actually like

clipped out some pictures for magazines

because I way I wanted at this

have a lovely Christmas stocking here so

in Japan especially in my area is not

too Christmasy in the neighborhood

actually downstairs they do have like a

light on at the barber shop which is

pretty stiff right it is crazy they take

like half of the power from the

neighborhood I think what we also have

this lovely hat which is like kind of

Christmas see a body had a party hat I

didn't have like a santa hat so I can

kind of where this one even though it

doesn't quite fit like that though but

people were curious on facebook how do i

can take my my side or back people were

curious about how Christmas in America

is different from Japan

what do you think about that oh you can

it's more like a couple event and

couples go out for dinner and it's like

a romantic oh yeah yeah yeah it's

totally different and guess what

everybody in Japan likes Christmas you

yeah Christmas season and like that in

atmosphere yet and people give presents

do like you got presents on Christmas

and what do you want this year here you

said you want some new glasses right and

then lastly is and aroma therapy how you

want like a massage treatment and that

would be nice i like one of those and

and don't make you were that good this

year Santa Santa won't be able to bring

you all that and go ahead what do you

want maybe you still got time you still

have like three days

nice if you're really good I'm good

always she's pretty good sometimes not

though I mean don't know about you know

you don't know about me I'm really good

I'm great

anyway what else do you want going to

maybe Santa will bring it for you home

interesting though for new years it's

connected in in like the Christmas

season because it's so close but you

want to tell the difference between New

Year's in America and new years in Japan

oh right and its opposite i guess then

use they gonna be a family holiday in

japan so yeah people usually have a like

a you'll have maybe a new years party or

something for new years eve but more

like everybody goes to like the shrine

for New Year's morning when you wake up

or even for new years eve right so

people go to a shrine in America we just

party and we find like the mistletoe you

know about the mistletoe mistletoe is

like it's like a little plant i think

the plants actually poisonous but it's

like a little you always hanging hanging

over you and you see somebody typically

like a woman or man like somebody wanted

like kids you get to kiss them if you're

under the mistletoe

mm so people had a party you walk-in

like mistletoe will be hanging in a

doorway or something if you're there you

like you know I didn't know that

yeah so everybody gets to learn it live

it down in your and your place back in

america on what did a was that they

drinking drinking cup we played we

played flip cup which is drinking a

drinking game so you have we use it like

a ping-pong table and you try to flip

cups upside down and then you have to

drink quickly so it's like a team game

and we did that at my mom's house and my

mom drinks i'm doing my mom got really

excited

what about that no it's under she's

happy she was having fun she's usually

like if you've seen her especially

master English conversation members will

remember videos with my mom she's quite

quite not serious but very like straight

a very calm so she's like yeah you know

that is the one thing about new years

but i like you know it so in in Japan

like we have a mix of both of those

things but we don't get a tree we forgot

to bring the little tree is a tree

yeah so we have a little bit cute it's a

is a Warner Brothers like little young

man bring it

but i do miss having and actually let me

get this i miss having a real tree when

we go back to America we will have a

good shot at some point anyway

however you celebrate your new year's

and christmas we wish you a happy happy
