Live English - Up Late With Mr Duncan - 14th Feb 2018 NEW PC

duncan and mr. Steve good evening hello and welcome it's Wednesday night

it's very late it is now just after 10:15 at night and I am feeling very

very tired do you want to know why I'm feeling so tired do you really want to

know well the reason is because I have been so busy working trying to get my

new studio up and running and more precisely my new computer so a lot of

people have been asking mr. Duncan what is happening with your new computer have

you set it up yet well I am in the process of setting it up but of course

it takes a lot of work to set up a new computer first of all you have to

transfer all of the files from your old computer and let's just say there are

lots and lots of files that need to be transferred so that's one of the jobs

I'm doing also I am having to install some software as well in fact lots and

lots of software can you see the software there it is lots of software

has to be installed into the computer look at that all of the software I

haven't done this yet so all of these boxes of software that

you can see I haven't installed them yet so I will be doing that over the next

couple of days you can see there is Adobe Adobe Premiere Pro and also video

studio and at the bottom you can see Adobe Photoshop Elements 8

so some of my software is a little old but it still works and that's all that

matters but look at my studio at the moment my studio is such a mess at the

moment it is an absolute mess but there is a good reason for it I am currently

doing lots of things at the same time and to be honest with you it is quite

exhausting doing lots of things at the same time sometimes I am very good at

multitasking whilst other times I am NOT I must admit

at the moment I'm not very good at multitasking

in fact I don't like it at all oh look there's my old computer can you see

there it is there is my old computer there it is oh look at that my poor old

computer I was talking to Steve today and I was saying Steve do you realise

this computer is now an antique you might actually see this computer one day

in a museum look at that graphics card that graphics

card is over eight years old and look modern graphic cards look a little

better than that and you can see the fan now that is used for cooling the power

supply and there you can see the fan that covers the processor and the

processor that's inside this computer is actually the first generation i7

processor yes it's true so this computer is very old and the processor that's

inside it is in fact the first generation i7 processor from Intel and

there it is my old computer for those who were interested

in having a look at just how bad my old computer is can you see and sometimes

this graphics card would get very very hot indeed and that's one of the reasons

why the computer kept breaking because the graphics card got very hot because I

was trying to run too many things through the computer so that's my old

computer would you like to see my new computer do you want to see my new

computer well first of all let's have a look at me shall we now let me just warn

you that I do look a little bit untidy at the moment I look very scruffy so

here we go here I come wait wait for it mr. Duncan is about to appear on your

screen looking very very untidy ah oh hello there hi everybody can you see me

I hope so it's mr. Duncan now definitely alive you

can see if I just go over to where the clock is now this is normally where mr.

Steve will stand or sit and there it is look you can see the time it is now just

after 22 minutes past 10 o'clock and I am so exhausted let me just tell you now

I am so tired I've been working since yesterday of course I have a sleep last

night as well so don't worry about that but look look at all the things I have

to do still I have to install so much software can you see all the software in

front of my computer and there are still lots of things that need installing so

many more things oh my goodness there really aren't enough hours in the day oh

there it is it again there's the clock again

can you see the clock there it is just coming up to 25 past 10:00 at night yes

it's nighttime now can you believe it so would you like to have a look at the new

computer here it is I'm going to reveal the new computer to you right now and of

course this computer was purchased with help from some of my lovely lovely

subscribers also mr. Steve as well also he also donated some money to buy my new

computer and here it is and there it is there is my new computer can you see it

it is running and so far everything is ok it is working perfectly so there is

my new computer and if you take a close look you can see there are lots of

lights inside it's it's a rather nice computer I must say and it was also very

very expensive as well so there it is my new computer and if we go around the

side you can actually look inside the computer so if we go around the side oh

look at that there it is the inside of the computer you can actually see it

working oh wow so it is now official that my computer has been delivered and

right now I am installing all of the software so this isn't your average

computer this is something that is very high spec very high specifications so

there it is my new computer thank you very much to everyone who helped who put

a little money towards it and of course mr. Steve

and myself as well I also put some of my own money towards this computer so all I

have to do now is spend the next couple of days installing all of this software

so much software has to go into this computer and there are other things as

well that I have to install that will allow my cameras to work and there is

another monitor can you see now I have three monitors so this monitor here will

be for mr. Steve so when mr. Steve joins me on Sunday he will be able to use this

monitor to watch what is happening and then where I am where I'm sitting there

are two more monitors as well so this is starting to look more like a proper

studio for broadcasting live streams and between you and me mr. Steve is very

happy that he will have his own his own monitor so this monitor you can see here

this screen will be mr. Steve's special screen so he will be able to see what's

happening on the live chat Oh so there we go Oh some more can you see

some more software there is software everywhere and you can see the studio at

the moment looks very dirty very untidy very messy so now I have to sort all of

this out over the next few days mr. Steve is not here at the moment mr.

Steve is not here he he's out at the moment mr. Steve is out he's rehearsing

he has a Big Show this weekend so mr. Steve is out at the moment he is

rehearsing but I think he will be back soon I'm hoping that mr. Steve will be

back from his rehearsal very very soon Wow it's very dark in here and you can

see behind me it is nighttime just to prove that it is very late here let's

have a look outside shall we so here is the view at the moment outside you might

not be able to see anything but that is the view from outside there isn't much

of a view but you can just about see the outside of the house there we are so

that's outside at the moment we've had lots of rain today it's been raining

very heavily now the rain has stopped having said that it is still very cold

oh look there's wade lady Willington hello lady will in-turn

can you see her lady Willington in the dark

and of course we have the fire I have my lovely little fire here can you see

there is the fire burning away nicely I put some wood on the fire earlier

because the house is quite cold at the moment so there is the fire yes keeping

me warm on this Wednesday night and yes you can see once again the time there it

is it is now 28 29 minutes past 10 o'clock and this is mr. Duncan

a very tired mr. Duncan broadcasting live on the mobile phone tonight so I'm

not broadcasting from the studio because I'm still putting the computer together

I'm still installing all of the software so there's still lots of things to do oh

here I am I'm still here don't worry so I hope that you've enjoyed this short

livestream mr. Steve will be back in a moment so I'm hoping that Steve will be

able to say hello to you as well but to be honest I am so tired I am really

really too are tired I've been sitting here all day getting this computer

sorted out so this is where I've been sitting for the past 12 or 13 hours

setting up the computer and getting everything ready of course don't forget

I won't be here on Sunday so this Sunday don't forget I won't be here live on

Sunday I will be live on Sunday the 25th of February okay so don't forget I won't

be here next Sunday but I will be here on the 25th of February and hopefully

everything will be set up at that point everything will be working and hopefully

it will be working properly right I'm going to go it looks as if mr. Steve

isn't coming back I think mr. Steve might have gone for a

drink with his friends mm-hmm that's what I think anyway so sadly I don't

think mr. Steve is going to arrive before I finish which is a shame really

isn't it that's a shame oh well we can't do anything about it unfortunately I am

very thirsty at the moment I'm really thirsty so I'm going to have a drink in

and this weekend he will be performing in The Mikado which is a show written by

Gilbert & Sullivan

6:30 oh now so it's 6:30 a.m. so in fact it

must be 6:30 7:00 now 6:30 7:00 in the morning

in Taiwan wow that is very very late today is the eve of the Chinese New Year

yes it is yes we are coming up to the Chinese New Year so Gong she fash I to

all those who are watching in China and also of course in Vietnam they have

tipped as well so a happy Tet to all those watching in Vietnam

Steve isn't coming back I think all of his friends have decided to take him for

a drink because it's mr. Steve's birthday on Friday so on the 16th it is

actually Steve's birthday yeah so Steve will be another year older on Friday so

I think that the other people in the show have taken Steve for a birthday

drink that's what I think anyway right I'm going to go it looks as if mr. Steve

is not going to come back yet Clemson from Brazil please tell mr.

Steve I said happy birthday I will in fact mr. Steve will watch this live

I'm not indeed I never look at myself in the mirror well we haven't got one in

is so ugly that when I look in the mirror I break the glass there anyway

I'm going in a moment I've been here for nearly half an hour you yes nearly half

involve a large box full of electronics yes it does I've been talking about my

new computer I've been very busy tonight installing software I've managed to get

some of the software installed so so far Steve everything is going okay

it's fantastic mr. seam seems to have an ego now mr.

I if I manage to connect everything up to my new computer we might actually be

able to do live Skype yes so maybe every week we can find someone who wants to

join us on skype and they will be able to practice their English live on skype

so that is something we are hoping to introduce once I've got the new computer

working and everything is set up grab some Sun from Brazil did we have a

Clemson on last week so we have quite a few people from Brazil on last week

Brazil yes I know we have a lot of students watching in Brazil fantastic

you know my thoughts on Brazil yes Steve is a big fan of Brazil he really wants

to go there so if someone wants to send a plane ticket to mr. Steve so he can go

and spend a few weeks want me only yes Steve wants a single ticket and I think

also maybe one way oh no I know I want to come back eventually eventually okay

very much for your birthday wishes and we are going we are probably going to

see Star Wars on Friday I'm going to take Steve to see Star Wars hopefully

I'm looking forward to that because although mr. Duncan thinks it's not a

very good film I want to watch it it's my birthday so

haven't seen the film myself but I have heard lots of reviews that don't seem

very favorable we can just we can just enjoy the romp yes

close-up images live but I'm going to go now to be honest Steve out I'll be

I'll be able to see people's messages come through and hopefully would be able

excited about that I'm not sure yet don't go away just yet I have to go

because my arm is hurting I've been holding the camera for for

have lots of software to put into that well no there's no hardware and not much
