it's time to improve your English here we go again hi everybody this is mr.

Duncan in England how are you today are you okay I hope so are you happy

well are you happy I really hope so welcome to a very dull and dismal

England it is very misty outside the fog has

descended and visibility is zero you can't see a thing outside at the moment

would you like to have a look let's have a look outside shall we so here is the

view right now outside and you can see it's very misty so you can see the trees

in the garden but you can't see anything anything at all in the distance it is

very very murky today and visibility is virtually zero that means you can't see

anything so looking out of the window today is not a very interesting sight

however this week something did happen yes hmm we had some snow during the week

on Friday it actually snowed look there it is you can see now the snow is

falling so that was a couple of days ago so we did have a little bit of snow here

in the UK in some parts of the country they had a lot of snow but here we just

had a few flakes and then it vanished also the birds were getting rather

excited as well let's have a look in the garden this was on Friday and you can

see the birds are getting very excited because well I'm not sure if it's

excitement maybe maybe panic is a better word to use so you could see many of the

birds getting very very upset because the snow was falling

fortunately we didn't have much snow on Friday so it only snowed for a short

time and then it stopped but look at all the birds can you see there are lots of

gold finches on the bird feeder there also I can see a nuthatch

and also one or two oh I think there's a Robin there as well can you see the

Robin in the cage so quite a few birds there so that was on Friday and this

morning would you like to have a look at the view this morning so here it is this

is what I woke up to this morning look at that it's so gloomy and Misty outside

so now you can really see just how foggy how murky the the view is from the

window today so it's not a very good view and it looks as if we might get

some more snow hmm so I was watching the news last night

and I noticed that the weather forecaster was talking about snow on

Tuesday I'm not joking so it looks as if we might actually get some snow on

Tuesday can you believe it so we might have not just a little snow no no no a

lot of snow so that is the forecast for Tuesday so in this part of the country

right here where I live the weather forecasters have said that we are going

to get a lot of snow just in case that happens I might I'm not sure yet I might

do a special live stream on Tuesday so if it does start to snow on Tuesday

if we have a lot of snow I might do a special live stream let's see what

happens so it's a little bit exciting here a bit because as you know I love

the snow I really really do lots of things coming up today

many things in the news you may have read this week that a member of the

royal family had a slight mishap mishap I like that word mishap if someone has a

mishap they have an unfortunate event something bad happens they are involved

in a bad or unfortunate situation so this week there was a member of the

royal family who was involved in an incident we will talk all about that

later on because that particular story leads me onto other questions as well so

that's something we'll be doing later also we'll be taking a look at something

for fun we're going to take a look at some companies some large companies and

what I'm going to do today is to ask you to guess when they were formed also I

will be asking mr. Steve as well yes mr. Steve will be here later on but where is

he at the moment well I won't tell you I'm not going to spoil the surprise

but let's just say mr. Steve is in a very very comfortable place today

doot-doot don't strain yourself mr. Steve

so yes mr. Steve will be here at around about 2:30 around about then and well

after last week mr. Steve was complaining he was complaining to me

about how uncomfortable it is standing here

so he kept saying mr. Duncan it's so uncomfortable I hate standing during the

live stream so today I have arranged something extra special for mr. Steve

something that will make him feel very comfortable indeed that coming later on

also oh I almost forgot we have the live chat as well how can I forget the live

cold at the moment and it looks as if we might be getting some snow during the

week especially on Tuesday and Wednesday so it looks as if we might get the

of Turkey you have had snow this week so over the past few days there has been a

Nik Jiang watching in China and can you believe it Nick sent me a message all

the way from the place that I used to live in Nick lives in a place called Bao

toe which is in Inner Mongolia and for those who are regular viewers you will

know that I did live in China for many years hello Duncan

I am from bow toe and I really like the view of the 2006 bow toe videos that you

uploaded to YouTube I'm just wondering if you could upload them again with

better quality well thanks Nick I have many fond memories of my time in

bout oh these videos were filmed using early digital video technology the

original resolution is not high YouTube back then only streamed in 240 P so that

is very low resolution I think it is a good idea to re-render them and

re-upload them I'll see what I can do and a big hello to bow toe so there is

my response to that message and yes I was thinking the other day actually

I was thinking about my time in China and I I did remember some of the video

clips that I filmed there and I did post some of them onto YouTube so let's have

a quick look shall we so this is one of the videos that I

filmed during my time in Barrow and as you can see the video quality isn't

perfect but you can get an impression of the place in which I was living so here

it is this is the city that I was living in and there I am filming on my bicycle

now can I just say since 2006 this particular city has changed a lot now

from what I can tell there are many new buildings and also there are there are

many more cars so way back in 2006 when this was filmed there were very few cars

on the road but now apparently in this particular city

there are lots and lots of cars in fact there are so many cars on the road that

most of the cycle lanes have been taken away and now they are used by cars so

this video you can see now was filmed almost 13 years ago so this is 13 years

ago the thing you are looking at now and you can get an idea of the place in

which I lived it was a very cold place in the winter the temperature would drop

to to below minus 19 19 degrees below zero so yes it was very cold in this

place during the summer it was very warm so just in case you are watching right

now Nick there you can see one of the videos that I filmed way back in 2006 so

this is around 13 years ago and as I just mentioned the

city has changed a lot since this was filmed it has changed quite a lot and

there is another view so this is where I lived for four years teaching English

bout Oh in China if you would like to see some more of that well you can find

them on my youtube channel some of those videos are on my youtube channel and

also maybe in the future I will upload some of these to YouTube in higher

quality so that is something that I might do if you are wondering what that

man is doing he has just had a wee in the street this is one of the things

that you would see quite often you would see people taking a wee wee in the

street I I'm not sure if it happens now maybe not so I hope you enjoyed that

something a little different something a little unusual we're now going to go

back a whole one year do you remember a year ago when mr. Steve and myself were

outside walking and we decided to play a little game called what's inside the bag

doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo it's a Saturday afternoon and I cannot see a

thing oh my goodness look how misty it is and can you see it has been snowing

and of course it isn't just me here at the moment it is also mr. Steve but

where is he where is mr. Steve there is mr. Steve hi Steve are you are you ok

I'm very well thank you mr. Duncan apart from it being a little misty and it's

been snowing quite heavily hasn't it but it's as you can see but it's gone now

it's just we're left with low class old mist low cloud so it's very

atmospheric as they say yes the the view the view is incredible I mean look how

misty and murky everything looks it looks like something from a horror movie

it looks like something from from a very creepy film like I keep expecting

something to come out of the Mist and and jump on us

mr. Steve was just doing a very creepy face let's have a look oh my goodness

it's it's it's it's horrible kill it with fire we've just we've just had a

Saturday meal haven't wicken today we're full up and we were going to go straight

home with it was so cold mr. Duncan wanted to do some filming but it was so

cold he said there are gonna go straight back home but then we stopped here it's

very calm very still and we thought we'd show you what we'd bought in town yes

we're going to play a new game called what's in mr. Steve's bag so there is

the bag can you see the bag there it is mr. Steve has it firmly grasped in his

hand he's going to show is now what is in the bag because we have something

very lovely to show you so come on mr. Steve please tell us what is in your bag

well last week of course it was the bread this which is in the rucksack

there so this is something we can eat later on in the week look at that it's a

frozen pizza a pizza in this case four cheese with a stuffed crust and three

pounds that cut as you can see so we'll get that in the freezer when we get back

home and then we all have it with some baked beans as a quick meal a quick meal

one of these days during next week of course there is one thing that everyone

is going to say they are all going to say mr. Duncan mr. Steve that is a very

unhealthy meal because it contains lots of fat in bad things let's have a look

at the fat content per half a pizza 26 grams that's not bad actually that's not

bad for a pizza it's quite a healthy one this one

but delicious we will have that in the week with some baked beans and I should

put some curry flavor in the beans because I like curry flavored beans and

when I'm going out that'll be a 10 minute meal in the oven on the table and

I'm out so that's the pizza I must I must admit this is a very surreal moment

of time because we're standing here on a very very cold and dismal day it was

snowing this morning we actually had quite a lot of snow and I must admit I'm

quite surprised by the amount of snow that's fallen and now look you can see

that it is very misty very murky today so it's Saturday at the moment so this

particular section you are watching now isn't live but don't worry we will be

going live to the studio in a few moments but mr. Steve has something else

in the bag Oh so what do you have now mr. Steve we've

just had we've just had unhealthy pizza and now we've got unhealthy chocolate

pizza with chocolate for dessert there we go so we're carrying on the healthy

theme for one day this week actually there's another one in here so there's

three bars of chocolate in here but all is not lost that's very bad for your

teeth so I've bought some toothpaste as well just to clean my teeth afterwards

and this is a snip at only a pound for this excellent toothpaste so so that's a

tube of toothpaste show it us again so we have we have the unhealthy food we

have the chocolate and then afterwards we can clean all of the all of the junk

food from between our teeth with this tube of toothpaste so how much was how

much was that Steve I think I just said it was a pound there we go

just one pound shut that's amazing that so cheap so is there anything else in

there if we're here for much longer oh this pizzas frozen I'm gonna have to put

it in the snow to keep it cold I have a have a strange feeling that the pizza is

not going to thaw out but look at the view isn't that beautiful it feels so

it's it's almost it's almost slightly sinister because it's murky it's very

very damp and of course we had lots of snow this morning I must admit I was

slightly surprised just as Steve was weren't you you were very surprised this

morning when you opened the curtains and you saw all of the snow falling yes I

hope it doesn't last because had a bit of a drama this week which we will

reveal yes we're going to talk about mr. Steve's very dramatic moment this week

something quite terrible happened whilst mr. Steve was driving during the week

can you believe it so it did actually happen and it happened to mr. Steve and

he will be recalling the story the whole story of his dramatic moment on the road

a little bit later on but now I think we will go back to the studio because I

don't know about you Steve but I am absolutely freezing cold so am i but I'm

not as cold as I would be because I've got long johns on under my trousers Oh

long johns of long johns are very useful because you can wear them under your

trousers I think mr. Steve is going to show us

there we go oh my calves I've got big calves there my long johns underneath my

trousers so there's this Steve showing off about his sexy legs again but yes

mr. Steve is wearing an extra layer of material under his trousers and we call

them long johns they can't hear you Steve wait there a minute

have to point the microphone toward you here we go mr. mr. Duncan hasn't got his

long johns on so he's cold yes I'm freezing I'm actually freezing

cold because I only have my jeans on but nothing underneath absolutely boiling

hot I need to take some layers off so so now Steve is just showing off so we'll

go back to the studio now we'll join mr. Duncan and a little bit later on you

will be live as well about you Steve I will be yes live as life can be as live

as you can be which is as live as anyone really and that is pretty live so we'll

discussion with Steve and he said that he was always feeling uncomfortable

another ten minutes then nope Oh mr. Duncan oh you put me in such a wonderful

place I'm so comfortable and warm and cozy well I feel a bit I feel a bit

exposed so look at that look what I've done I I put this together today so mr.

Steve would be would be comfortable in the studio so he's in bed he's got his

little friends with him who's that who's that there Steve oh that little teddy

that's Tony the teddy Tony Tony the teddy yeah but only what an unusual name

I couldn't give another name for him Ted seems a

bit basic yeah yes he said he's Tony the Teddy hmm Hilo male believe me haha he

looks well stuffed yes Oh mr. Duncan you're being naughty I'm

not oh and here I have here I have of course my this one is really soft and he

likes to put his arms around me like this you see hello how are you

you're a nasty little well if you're quite big rid you're nicely little polar

bear I mean you wouldn't do this in real life to a polar bear would you because

they probably eat you no I I believe it would rip your face

off this one's quite friendly that's good hi

course you know what Steve I dread to think what you've been doing with those

toys nothing absolutely nothing so what you got there I've got a penguin here

mr. Duncan yes penguin you know I've been tickled this wanders and isn't it

the the month of the penguin or something

mr. Duncan no the day of the penguin today it is penguin Awareness Day ah so

we are all being encouraged to be aware of penguins did you know it was your day

today oh it is yeah well it'll it is what are

you okay I'm fine mr. Duncan yes you know you know anyone tuning in now are

probably thinking that you're in well they probably don't think this is an

English lesson and they would be right anyway but what else that right here mr.

Duncan Oh Steve you've got you've got some nice buns I know they're nice and

soft people like to handle my buns and these

are particularly soft and fresh and virginal definitely they are be going in

the toaster later and we're having with a nice cup of tea oh the view of regular

viewers my notice that there are only two in the bag today

yes and last week when you showed the tea cakes there before yes there's a

very good reason for that we X two of them last night that's it so you had one

with them you had one and I had one so I do I look like do I don't come to a mr.

Duncan oh I don't want to upset the Teddy's did you just kiss the penguin

yes I always kiss my Ted as you know that yes you've been a naughty boy

haven't you Tony you have we won't say to our viewers what Tony was doing to me

last night sorry were very naughty teddy bear ha ha

now he was cuddling up to me you see that's what he likes to do I didn't know

you were into bears the thing is you get older you know you've tried new things

this doesn't no answer to that this is a particularly furry bear this one mmm

it's a very hairy bear you're gonna lose weight you have so the big question

Steve are you comfortable I am not quite comfortable yes you know

in my bed so I am quite comfortable that's it yeah do you have anything else

to show is there I believe you you have a book don't you I have but I'll be

looking at that one later okay yeah what I like to do in bed I learn my scripts

okay I like because it's a nice place in bed you you haven't got any distractions

because you've just woken up your mind is fresh you've got a nice cup of tea by

the side of you and I like to just learn a few lines if I've got a play coming up

or a musical and I just like to sit there and just quietly to myself without

any distractions before the daily life has started and all the all the woes and

troubles and all the pressures on your started then I like to spend I put half

an hour just going through my lines you know just memorizing them nothing else

to distract me and I find it helped so I've got the latest thing I've got to

learn by the side of me here are you

interested in knowing what it is I mean I'm slightly interested there we

go displayed a mouse okay then it's by

Strauss it's it's a little comic opera operetta that we're doing in the musical

society I'm in and I've never done this before and it's German it means the bat

so Fledermaus it's like a little mouse that's German for bat yes he literally

means flying mouse yes I think you're right mr. Duncan

Four Winds and so I'm learning that I've got to play the part of Alfred and he is

a romantic person and he's trying to to get very romantic with the leading lady

but she's already married and all sorts of comic things happen as a result of

that so what's happening on the live chat mr. dwell and I will put the live

chat up because I know that you like to see the live chat I'm trying to get you

onto the screen you see so so if you could just do do what they call vamping

could you vamp for a moment definitely I confirm should I say so no I can't say

that anybody ever learnt this or know anything about it

Strauss wrote at least a couple of operas another one was called the gypsy

Baron hmm but that one didn't go down very well

oh so when we say didn't go down very well we mean it wasn't successful I

think he only had about 60 or 70 showings and then it was it was abandon

because it wasn't very popular know where it to fledermaus is still very

popular and you always hear the music from Strauss being played and there's

usually an excerpt from this particular operator played at new year because we

like to watch that don't we mr. Duncan the new

from Vienna yes where they have that sort of two hour long program where

they've got the orchestra there in this famous building in in Vienna somewhere I

can't think what it's called and they're playing all this waltz music from Vienna

mainly Strauss and there's a bit of ballet going on it's all very

interesting it sort of gives you a bit of culture to start off the new year so

I always thought I ate something from do Fledermaus yes

I always thought Steve I always thought that you watched that just for the

ballet dancers no I watch it for the high-class music the culture I mr.

Duncan that new year concert by the way from Vienna thank you to get in there in

the audience mhm you've either got to be very rich or

put a request in sort of ten years ahead know that it's very sought-after to go

and watch that live so it's the Christmas concert from from Vienna

that's the one mr. Duncan yes and every year they have it and one of the things

they always play one of my favorite pieces of classical music is the Blue

Danube the Blue Danube round and don't

don't don't I enjoyed that so the live chat is now

my left don't worry just there's anything catch your eye well I can see

out of the window from here it's a very miserable day mr. Duncan it is somebody

has asked what is the meaning of gypsy oh okay either gypsy of course is is is

a traveler it's a it's a person who travels from time from place to place

eugen caravans and there's their travelers they don't they don't settle

in one place gypsies you get gypsies romeny gypsies you get gypsies from all

different parts of the world I think they're mostly come from sort of Europe

and we have gypsies here normally we're a bit afraid of gypsies aren't we mr.

Tonko well you might you might be because they

sort of live outside of normal society that they they have their own families

and instead of settling in one town they travel from place to place in in

caravans which would have been drawn by a horse and cart and in the in the past

but they've got vans and lorries and things like that now and they travel

from town to town to a gypsy assembly wanders around and doesn't have a fixed

place of settlement hmm so they they might be even described as is maybe

nomadic yes so nomads tend to roam around they don't

have one particular place where they stay or with gypsies or Roman is they

literally roam around so wherever they Park wherever they stop that is where

they live and then and there maybe at some point they will move on to another

place but as you as you said there as a lot of people don't trust gypsies they

use it almost as a as an insult so you might describe someone as a gypsy just

just as an insult and of course like all cultures they are often misunderstood

yes because they decided that they don't want to be part of normal society but we

would call normal society so they've to them it's abnormal but to us it's normal

yes and they just want to do their own thing yes you know what I always say

Steve each to his own that's right we won't go into that we didn't know a lot

about gypsies so we won't talk too much about it but I'm sure there are people

on there who who might be able to tell us more about it

yes okay then Steve so so I've been asked at

when when your performance of deflator Mouse is it's at the end of February

yes that's sooo cat so sue cat asks when is the date of the play delayed a mouse

oh I don't know it's the last week of February oh the end is about the 28th

29th something like that I can't remember exactly off the top of my head

it's what we're doing is it's not a full performance it's of what we call a

concert version so we're just doing a short it'll be a shortened version just

to try and raise money for the main show Oh coach is in July so we won't be fully

doing a full stage production we will just be seeing the songs and doing

little snippets little pieces of dialogue that's it just to string all

the songs together to tell something about the plot so it's almost like it's

almost like a little medal eeee yes it's what you've got a concert version so

instead of having costumes and a and a full set hmm you do the whole thing you

do all the music but you don't do all the dialogue okay and you just give a

flavor of what it's about that sounds quite good so no costumes just just part

of the show but so you might say there are excerpts

yes well all the music will be sung okay but not all but that all the

dialogue won't be said it'll just be and it cuts down the the time and it's just

for to raise funds really for for the main show yes and also we've been asked

when are you in another play possibly in July no I'm gonna be careful what I say

here ah you know be careful what I say cuz because I I know for a fact Steve

that you are in high demand well the trouble is there are not many but well I

don't know what it's like in other countries but in the UK this type of

music classical music sort of opera or operetta

Gilbert and Sullivan that type of thing used to be very popular and choirs have

found it very very difficult to recruit people in recent years because this sort

of music isn't taught in schools anymore okay and it's seen as very old-fashioned

and young people don't want to become involved in it they want to do hip-hop

and rap and and and R&B and things like that they want to be seen as cool with

their friends they're not going to go onto their social media and on to both I

don't know what they use now but it's not fake I don't think young people use

Facebook anymore no I'm not gonna go into Facebook and say oh I've oh I will

you come and see me in the in the latest operetta I'm in that they will get

derided and called names I don't think no Millennials will get very excited by

that no because it won't it's not seen as something cool to do anymore it's

seen as something old-fashioned yes and out of time which which it is to a

certain extent but the music is beautiful

music that this type of music you know hundreds of years old is is timeless

they don't write music like this anymore and I like doing it because it's it's

difficult to do it takes a lot of effort to learn it the music's well actually

the music of this isn't terribly difficult but it's certainly more

difficult than doing a modern pop song and it's challenging it's very

challenging to do it it gives your brain a bit of a challenge

mm-hmm to do but it seems that it's not popular anymore I'm in a choir we can't

we're struggling particularly to get men to joy but also women as well and choirs

are dying out around the country here because they just can't get young people

to join them so it's it's not really a trendy thing now is it it's not trendy

to be in a choir it's not trendy to to do a music well musical theater is still

quite popular so musical theater sort of more up-to-date shows Rodgers

and Hammerstein's that type of thing is more popular because audiences still

like to go and see it so that means if you're up-and-coming if you want do you

want to practice or start doing a bit of acting or singing then lots of musical

societies will put on more modern shows like The King and I things like that and

you can sort of learn the craft that way but Gilbert and Sullivan

Strauss operators are not seen as popular anymore but that's the way it is

so but we still do them in our society and we hopefully will do them for as

long as there are people available to do it and audiences will come and see it

yes unfortunately there are probably only about two or three of us it can do

the lead roles in these anymore and because of that then they tend to keep

asking you to do it which is means there's a lot of pressure on on it to do

these shows so that the society doesn't collapse yes I mean you know 20 30 years

ago you could people you'd have to audition to be an inner part and in

these sorts of musicals and there could be three or four people going to the

same role so what about nowadays well now it's just probably only one person

in the society that can do it well I've seen this happen I've heard you talking

to people on the phone they call you and they're sort of begging you to join

their group or to get involved with one of their musicals because they can't

find anyone to actually take the role so in deflator Mouse you are you are

playing the romantic part yes I'm playin the romantic tenor who

I've never sung like a full opera and I've never really enjoyed I don't really

like operas that much full-on operas but it but it sounds very highbrow because

it's always sung in German usually mm-hmm or Italian or French but when you

actually as we've looked at this before when you actually look at the

translation they're just sort of talking everyday language yes

they're just having general day-to-day conversation general day-to-day

conversation there isn't even a rhyme or any sort of stanza it's just sort of

hello I've just been to other shops did you get the milk no I'm sorry I forgot

the milk Oh tragedy what tragedy we won't be able

to have a cup of tea yes they they tend to talk about everyday things but the

music is so well written and don't think anybody and no one can write that today

we don't have those kind of composers anymore that can write that that level

of complexity of music well we probably do but it's obviously yeah if I say

something like that I'm bound to be criticized but anyway but yes there

might be some opera fans watching it could well be birdies operas yes well

there we go Louis's mentioned verdes operas yes you've got to you've got to

have a lot of time to sit down and the the problem is if they are in a foreign

language it tends to put you off if you don't know what the meaning is so I

don't mind watching an opera as long as there are subtitles with a translation

yes underneath but of course the quality of the voices these are these are

singers who are singing at the it of what is the human voice is capable

of doing that's it the very extreme very limits of human ability reaching the

notes stamina if you're an opera singer you have to be incredibly fit that we

know that the the muscles involved in singing you're at the absolute pinnacle

of what is cave what the human voice is capable of doing and so that's why it's

seen as it as the absolute top in terms of in terms of singing opera is right at

the top because not everybody hardly anyone can sing at those levels you've

got to have a real talent to be able to sing in an opera that that's not

something you can just learn anyone could learn to sing yes

but you could spend your entire life if you haven't got the talent that yeah or

the vocal apparatus the physical the genes that have enabled you to have the

vocal cords and muscles the structure everything that enables you to sing like

an opera singer you can't learn to do that unless you've got that you've been

born with it yes well if you are an opera singer and I'm not I'm not a big

expert on our prep but as I understand it if you if you get into the world of

opera as a performer it kind of becomes your your whole existence yes definitely

it's like to take years of training I'm going where near at that level

but I can sing these I can sing the notes I can sing it but to have that

quality and that power I mean if you ever stood by opera an opera singer or

somebody who was a proper opera singer the power that comes out of their voices

is unbelievable they don't need microphones so when you hear somebody

singing a pop song it sounds like they've got a powerful voice but their

voice is amplified yes I've been in a choir where we've had singers come from

that we've had singers hide in to boost the numbers

and I've had there's been a tenor behind me who's come from it was come from an

opera somewhere and he's probably got the power and the volume of about ten

normal men and that is not something you can just develop no you've either got

that ability I mean it obviously you do develop it but you've got to have some

you've got to have that skill to start off with you've got to have that talent

and you can't just magic that up from nowhere

well mr. Duncan we've got right off subject straightaway that's okay I think

it's a good I think it's an interesting subject because I just like that much

about it I'm making out I know something about it but I don't know that much

about it no well you've never done opera no I haven't I've done operetta

hmm is only using me to sing a song I made I'm not is an operetta or a short

opera yes yes not necessarily sure well it is sort of I think it is means short

opera yes no I don't think we'll do any singing just in case we get struck foot

news has been very very active this week we've had a lot of news now did you see

in the news the news about a certain member of the royal family yes yes

wonder if other people have seen this on the news that's what that's what I'm

wondering us well I'm thinking right now so let's have a look the Duke of

Edinburgh has escaped unhurt after the car he was driving was involved in a

crash close to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk police were called to the scene

of a collision involving 97 year old Prince Philip who is the Queen's husband

the Queen of England her husband is called Prince Philip but

his formal title is the Duke of Edinburgh witnesses told the BBC that

the Land Rover being driven by Philip had overturned

after pulling out from a driveway on the a149 he was helped out of the car by

witnesses and was reportedly conscious but very shocked and shaken I bet he was

saying if you swear words as well because if there's one thing that Prince

Philip does quite a lot he likes wearing and he he's a bit of a racist as well

the palace would not confirm if he was alone in the vehicle at the time well as

we know now he was he was alone driving himself the other car involved was a Kia

a Kia what what type of car is that Steve it's from I think Kia's are made

in South Korea I think they're not big cars well they can be yes there can be

because okay I don't know you see I don't know about the four is it Ford

Nokia I'm sure Kia is aadi actual name of the company what's that for

well here is a make of car of car that's what I was trying to clear up yes and

yes the other car involved was a Kia and it's female driver and passenger were

treated in hospital and later discharged of course later it was revealed that

there was also a baby in the back Norfolk police said the female driver of

the Kia suffered cuts while the female passenger sustained an arm injury both

requiring hospital treatment and here it is this is the car just in case you

didn't see it there it is on its side that is Prince Philip's big it's a it's

a Range Rover isn't it yeah it's a Land Rover some kind of yes it's it's a it's

a really big car can't tell exactly what model it is there now I have a feeling

now this is my only only thought on this I have a feeling that maybe perhaps that

car is somehow reinforced so because it belongs to a member of the royal family

maybe it has been specially modified so that might be the reason why the car

seems to have survived quite well the impact and why Prince Phillip also

survived and of course it turned out later Steve that he wasn't wearing his

seatbelt well I well was that doing that I know he's been discovered since

photographed wasn't he yeah because a new car arrived from for him the very

next day next day and he was caught out in this car than the next day or

yesterday yes without a seatbelt on can you believe that and so of course it's

law in this country probably is in most countries I don't know but it's

certainly law in this country you must wear a seatbelt hmm but apparently

during the accident to the accident he wasn't wearing his seatbelt

I wasn't he no right okay when he was very lucky then

yes very lucky modern cars are very very strong and they can they can withstand

being rolled over without crushing that they have to be able to withstand

rolling onto their roof and non collapsing yes so I I doubt that it's

specially reinforced it's just a different car rolls over it won't

collapse and as it falls over a cliff I'd be surprised there because you you

would think that the windows would be bulletproof and justing just in case

anyone tried to to do something to Prince Philip so you know I think it

surprised all of us that that Prince Philip does go out driving on his own

yes without any s just goes onto public roads and nothing the thing I love Steve

is that they had they had another car for him the next day now I have a

strange feeling that he does this often a mister maybe he's always writing off

these cars maybe he's always having accidents and maybe somewhere though

there is a big warehouse full of these cars and they just send them so every

time he crashes one or breaks it or smashes it up they just send him another

one I don't know if it's happened before but of course people often say it's not

don't think it's necessarily true that often say that loyalty or a law unto

themselves meaning that they don't necessarily have to follow the laws of

the land but of course they do and I think a lot of people of course if you

if you've got tremendous amounts of money quite often you can get away with

things that average people can't yes well you be sure that the the person I'm

sure he won't be prosecuted no what we don't know whose fault it was

well today that the latest story today is that he did pull out in sunlight so

it would appear from one of the people actually in the car who was now given an

interview not the driver but one of the passengers said one of the passengers

said he just pulled out they were going along the road at about 50 miles an hour

and he just pulled out in front of them so they went straight into the side of

his that's it so so the fault wouldn't be with the drivers of the car that hit

the car though that the fault would be with with the Juke and I think he's

reportedly said that the Sun was shining in his eyes yes and he couldn't see

properly which you know normally if you can't see after you don't pull out no I

think you know when you're 90 even you're in your late 90s yeah well I've

noticed now I'm not as sharp on the road as I was now I was in the past I agree

and he obviously didn't have the modern safety systems which a lot of cars have

now that a lot of cars now you have to pay extra for it but if you try to pull

out there was another car coming it wouldn't let you it would be letting off

warnings everywhere so maybe he should get a car that has all the latest safety

aids so you know he meant him prevent him pulling out when a car is coming oh

I see young Nathan are there obviously his car didn't have that on no that

particular safety aid on I can't remember they call it now

first traffic awesome that's great cross traffic alert I think it's called okay

well maybe maybe you just use the eyes that are in the front of your head yes

see well I mean the sun shining in you don't pull out and to leave anyway well

not go into that well I am going into it they were interviewing an ex-police

traffic chief today okay and they asked her a woman would what is he likely to

be prosecuted and she almost said don't be ridiculous you know the husband of

the Queen isn't going to be prosecuted her up no even if you know I mean it

could have been very serious I mean the woman that went that the the other car

that crashed into them father could have been killed the baby could have been

killed was a baby on board yes I think things would have been very different

have there been some serious injuries well things would have been very

different had it been just a normal member of the public who had pulled out

yes I'm just trying I don't know how that would be treated a lot of it

depends on the injuries that are sustained so luckily nobody was

seriously injured okay I had somebody being killed then I think we would be

talking a very different scenario than just sort of you know I'm sure that the

lady concerned it will be compensated and won't have to go through her

insurance to get a new car one would hope that they would do the good thing

there I think she might she might end up with the Queen's golden carriage instead

so they might send her that just just as a way of compensating but of course the

Duke of Edinburgh if rumors are to be believed is no stranger to car crashes

because do you remember after Princess Diana was killed in 1997 there is a

rumor that Prince Philip the Queen's husband who mr. Duncan had

actually put a hit man out he'd actually arranged for that to happen of course it

was just a rumor and and since then nobody's really talked about it but

now and again you do hear people mention it but yes isn't that isn't that weird

yes it was a conspiracy theory at the time yes I think of course now that

there isn't anybody that doesn't think that it wasn't just a tragic accident

you couldn't arrange something like that it would be it's impossible to to

arrange for a car to crash in a tunnel in the way that Princess Diana's card

virtually impossible to arrange that this is true you know it was just just

because she was being chased by the paparazzi in there and the bloke that

was driving the car was drunk or it had a lot to drink at the Times allegedly I

think that's been pretty much proved yes and I think there was an inquiry and and

they did come to the conclusion that the driver was a little over the limit so

yeah I don't think anyone believes that nowadays that Prince must be quite clear

that we do not do not believe in that particularly didn't I didn't say I did

just because I say something doesn't mean that's what I think yes Palmyra

Prince Philip is Greek he's a Greek origin that is correct

he's been a very loyal consort is the phrase we use a consort to the Queen God

a companion a supporter for all these years I mean he gave up his career to be

by her side to marry her and supporter yes so you know he's done a tremendous

job really that's it but anyway let's not get into royalty a lot of a lot of

people have their own views of the royal family well I wasn't giving my view I

don't know I'm afraid that I might start saying things I may regret oh yeah what

I'm like mr. Duncan when I start talking I know exactly what you're like now the

big question now this is the thing we haven't even mentioned yet and this is

the reason why I wanted to mention the the incident in

solving the Duke of Edinburgh because look at this Steve now in November 2018

there were eleven thousand six hundred and twenty four people driving with

licenses full licenses and they were held by people aged over ninety-five Wow

so eleven and a half thousand people aged over ninety five driving on the

roads in Britain well there's a lot from the age of seventy five to ninety four

yes yeah there so the percentage is very low people over ninety five driving cars

compared to the largest group 45 to 54 mmm-hmm

so it's very low but that's still a lot of people and it's a lot of people that

just shows you how many people are driving cars on the roads in the UK I'm

going to be honest with you Steve I always feel slightly worried whenever

I see a very old person an elderly person driving a car because quite often

they seem completely confused by what they're doing there first of all their

heads are virtually hidden by the steering wheel so that's the first thing

I notice and also that they don't seem to be sort of paying any attention to

the road so maybe that that's a little biased I don't know I'm sure someone

will disagree but whenever I see a very old person driving a car I always feel

slightly nervous I wouldn't like to be in that car with them Oh Bella has said

she wants you to check the live chat for something yes the live chat is there

increasing which is going to put a big burden on the health care it already is

because of health care having said that they do think now that the because young

people are not being as healthy as their mothers and fathers or grandfather's

that we may not be continuing to get older the life expectancy may in fact be

dropping in this country now because people are drinking lots of alcohol

there may be giving up smoking but they're doing lots of other things which

are unhealthy for them they're not taking enough exercise yes they're

drinking too much alcohol okay spending too much time watching

television okay what so what does this have to do with driving well now I was

just making I was just commenting on what Pedro said about elderly people

being more active yes that's it yeah they are more active they do a lot more

things they have more active lives but also they have a lot more money than

they used to but I'm on about driving you know that's the topic right now

because the duke of edinburgh this week had an accident he's 97 still drives his

car on his own he doesn't wear a seat belt

apparently when it he's driving with the Queen when she's

driving he gets very annoyed he's often telling her how to drive so that was

another story in that with her husband telling their wife had to drive that was

another story that was another story today I read so yeah yes so what age

will you carry on driving Steve yes it's a very contentious subject isn't it very

touchy very yeah just just was just answer the question

I don't know as long as I feel safe to do so

I guess when I'm famous then I'm going to have a chauffeur to drive me around

yes well now when I was in China Steve I had my own driver

yes I know did you mr. Duncan I did I had to drive her from my school they

they gave me a driver so forever wanted to carry anywhere I could just phone

this guy up and he'd come in pick me up and take me somewhere so that was very

nice cause you can't drive well that's true I

don't drive so I don't have to worry about the age that I'm going to stop

driving because I've never driven a car oh thank you Steve motorbike but not a

car a lot of people think you're sick today I'm actually I'm lying here I'm

actually feeling I'm getting hotter and hotter

but this duvet cover is very warm yes and it's insulating me it's keeping

the heat in and I'm beginning to feel I'm beginning to feel rather hot yeah

and I feel as though I've got flu coming on or something is it true that you're

there well I think one of the reasons is because it almost goes back to what we

were talking about last week we will talk about divor

last week so maybe because there are lots of people who are divorced as they

get older they become more I want to say desperate yeah well you know everybody

wants not many people not want to be on their own most people want to be with

somebody and as you as you've said the divorce rate has increased over the

years so there are lots of people coming into retirement who get divorced and

they don't want to be on their own they're they're 65 and I think well I

could be alive for another 20 years I don't want to be on my own for 20 years

so they go and get married or they start dating and that's interesting that

Petros pedro's mentioned that because if you I happen to know that the because

it's part of my job the sexually transmitted diseases okay okay which you

tend to think that would be very common most common in young people

well the rates of sexually transmitted diseases in older generations has

increased dramatically over the last five or ten years because people are

deciding when they're old that they want to find a new partner and they're

picking up sexually transmitted diseases so you know that's an interesting

observation or statistic I think so is so it is is if you haven't got enough

problems already when you're old you know you're losing your health and then

and then you pick up the clap yes yes the clap you better explain what the

clap is other people watching the class ya know well it's it's any disease that

is transmitted sexually that's it yes yes so it's a sort of slang term for a

sexually transmitted disease you say you've got the clap exactly yes you

picked something up from a liaison and yeah people while sexually transmitted

diseases are going up generally anyway it's a big problem so you know yes I am

sleep tight so that means sleep well don't have any

nasty dreams wake up feeling refreshed just have a nice sleep sleep tight

that's what we tend to say isn't it mr. Duncan it is we also sometimes say sleep

tight don't let the bedbugs bite yes we do we do we sometimes say sleep tight

don't let the bed bedbugs bite because you know a hundred years ago more so

people's beds used to be infested with bugs that would bite them there are

specific bugs that live in people's beds that actually caused some quite nasty

bites so yes this they used to say sleep tight don't let the bedbugs bite

and by tight it means to cure it probably means tuck your blankets in

tightly around you so that you're all warm and cozy but as usual with a lot of

these expressions the actual meaning nobody really knows I did read that it

could mean because people used to live on go to sleep on beds made of rope and

they used to have to tighten the ropes to make it comfortable but I think I

think it means tuck your bedclothes in tightly and there's a poem I've got

which has words from this phrase in it so sleep tight you would say to me I

would say to you mr. Duncan you might say I'm very tired I'll go to bed and I

might say see you the morning sleep tight just means have a good

night's sleep yes it's very friendly it's just a

friendly affectionate way of wishing somebody a good night's sleep

here's another one let sleeping dogs lie so sleep is in there

it means best to leave a situation as it is sometimes rather than risk causing

trouble by disturbing it by talking about a subject so just like if you were

to if a dog was asleep and you were to poke it to try and wake it up it might

it might bite you or bark at you so what this means is that if you had a

situation that's been controversial usually in the past you know best not to

keep bringing it up because you don't want it to cause your problems again in

the future it's better that you for example it's better that you don't bring

up the issue about pay rises at our next company meeting because it's going to

cause problems just let sleeping dogs lie don't don't talk about it so you

brought it up before and it's caused an argument you brought up this issue of

pay rises before it's annoyed everybody's annoyed the bosses they've

said there's no pay rises but you decide you you you want to bring it up again

but somebody says don't let sleeping dogs lie because nothing's gonna change

you just causing our argument if you bring it up you might have you and I

might have had an argument but the night before and I I might want to bring up

that argument again the next day and continue it but I might think to think

to myself all know I don't record problems but let's let sleeping dogs lie

we can't get any further with that let's just not talk about it for now okay good

are you mr. Duncan a night owl sometimes a night owl so you describe somebody as

a night owl if they are somebody who likes to stay up late at night who is

very active and alert hmm at night and there are we all know people who go to

bed late and they suddenly become active at night yes and they like being awake

during the night so for example I turn into a night owl

around exam time when I've got to do lots of revising stay up till 2:00 a.m.

revising somebody back if you said to somebody oh if you look tired the next

day you might somebody might say you look a bit tired and you would see you

might say well I was up late last night revising for my exams and they might say

oh you're a bit of a night owl so obviously owls come out at night

so you're do they're suggesting to you cuz normally most people are in bed by

about 10 11 o'clock so if you not if you staying up late

after that then they can describe you as a night owl so he came to bed at 4 a.m.

last night after going to the party all he's a bit of a night owl people that

stay out late going to parties can be described as a night owl as well there

we go

have you ever or do you ever burn the midnight oil Oh burn the midnight oil so

that means to work hard through the night past midnight maybe a project

needs finishing maybe you've got some exams coming up and you need to revise

you might have a deadline for something it just refers to the fact that you've

got to continue working late at night in order to get something finished and the

phrase originates and the oil in burning the midnight oil refers to candles the

fact that before electricity in order to carry on working late at night people

would have to light a candle and the candles are a bit sort of oily so I

think it that's where it comes from burning candles keeping the lights on so

that you can continue working at whatever you're doing later than you

otherwise would have done I know in the past when I used to edit my very long

lessons I used to sometimes stay up until very late at night in fact I used

to stay up until the early hours of the next

so sometimes I would be a night owl and I would burn the midnight oil but not by

choice ah yes so you have to be a night owl

because you need to get that done but yes but yeah burning the midnight or

yeah that means you've got to get you've got a deadline to get something done hmm

and you better you've got to carry on doing something I remember many many

hours that I've spent at night editing things now the live chat is very busy

popular TV show in fact it is still being shown on TV now even though it

ended many years ago but ello ello is what it's called and it talks about

the world of the Second World War it makes fun of the German army it makes

fun of Nazis and quite often that they do the Nazi salute in the comedy so the

comedy show actually has people doing this and no one ever complains that now

if you do it's seen as insensitive and then it's likely to do to get you know a

controversial response from yes or well uh when you say controversial response

you mean you mean annoyance Oh people will get up in arms you know that it's a

favor get know if people get very annoyed very easily about anything now

yes whereas whereas you know if you can find

laughter in something that is horrific like the second world war then sometimes

that is helps to relieve the strain of and and the upset of what's happened

whatever that upset is if you can make a joke or as long as it doesn't harm

people anyway that I don't think I mean it was in sense insensitive of which

prince was it that dressed up as a Nazi it was Prince Harry that's right he did

he we won't know the context of it well he

went he went to a fancy dress party dressed as a Nazi I don't know what the

context is you were expecting there I don't

necessarily I know people I let's not go into that but do you are right now this

not look like you were yawning by the way that I've got to I've got to store

that on a loop that was very good what you just did there looked slightly

loop with something that I'm doing in bed you could go to the toilet what in

the bed well this would be the first time do you wet your bed

that's what that was always a shameful thing when I was growing up it was

when you were a child in bed I still do hmm I've always got to have something in

just do that again why think because he looks safe it looks great

hmm there we are I'm comforting myself by sucking my thumb that might be the

most disturbing thing I've ever seen but when you were a child I used to set my

thumb didn't you mr. Duncan I've just said I still do I could probably reach

other things but a piece of the tongue goes by thumbs attached yeah well I

didn't understand what you said then oh good good it was a bit sometimes you

sometimes you speak and laugh at the same time and and we can't understand

what you're saying

just it just comes out like gibberish suck your thumb

children do it to to comfort themselves when they're in bed you did or not in

bed you didn't I set my thumb turn I was quite old yes you know I must have been

32 when I said no I mean I'm joking I'm joking think your mum breastfeed you

until you were about eight I don't want to go into that is that true that you

were still being breastfed with you weren't when I was eight you said it was

eight I wasn't hey you should stand on a chair yeah but would come in here you

just stand on a chair and say come on hand it over

apparently out I was mighty for coming through apparently I bet they were that

that must have been a sore point it was enough to put me off breasts for the

rest of my life it certainly worked right mr. Duncan I've got some more

phrases here because we've got to finish on time it's getting dark as you know

we've got to have a cup of tea and some tea cakes and I've got to go out and

walk next door's dog that's it let's have a look outside yes so there's the

view outside at the moment the live view yes it's getting dark already so it's

coming up to 19 minutes away from 4 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon here in

here's an appropriate one you've made your bed now lie in it ok that's an

expression that is used you use that towards somebody when you want to make

them accept the consequences of their decisions usually from something they

might have done in the past it means you're not going to get any help or

sympathy for if somebody says that to you you're not

going to get any help or sympathy from them from a decision you made that has

now gone wrong and your life's not as good as it was before so somebody might

say that to you for example I told you not to accept that new job you can't go

back to the old one now you've made your bed you lie in it

so in other words you've given up a quite a good job because you thought the

grass was greener you thought it looked better this other new job it's all gone

wrong you hate it but you've got to carry on working to earn money and and

it's your own fault so you've made your bed so lie in it

I've I got can you think of another example mr. Duncan well it's a bit like

here's a good one this is this is a very hard-hitting one controversial maybe if

you maybe a daughter gets pregnant yes she's seeing a young lad and he's

not a very good person and not a very nice person but she gets pregnant and

then she comes home she says oh oh please oh no oh no I've got this

boyfriend and is so nasty to me and now I'm pregnant and the mother might be

very very uncaring she might be quite stubborn with her opinions about these

things he might say look you've made your bed now you have to lie in it

another word sort out your own mess you created this mess you created this mess

and I know you voted out yourself and now you have to live with it I think so

yes it means you're not going to get sympathy somebody says that to you

you're not going to get in this so obviously if you make your own bed you

lie in it it's just whatever the situation you've created for yourself

it's up to you to sort it out and deal with it hmm because you probably were

warned not to do a certain thing and then you did it yes so quite often quite

often if you go against someone's instruction

that's right exactly so somebody might give you some advice and they might

strongly advise you against doing something or taking a particular course

of action but you do it anyway and then they say to you well I told you

not to do that it's your own fault you made your bed you lie in it in other

words they're not going to help you get out of it it's up to you

so what yeah there we go now is your life mr. Duncan okay are you gonna put

demanding this is because people won't be able to read there we go

your life is a bed of roses it means it's wonderful you imagine a bed covered

in roses what does that what pictures does that paint as to what your life is

going to be like if you can't came back one day and somebody had put roses all

over your bed you would expect a romantic evening would you not a

wonderful evening so if your life is described as a bed of

roses it means it's always going to be nice and pleasant and wonderful but but

what it means is but it's usually used in the negative way isn't it to say I

thought married life for example I thought married life would be all fun

and happiness but it's not a bed of roses it's usually said to mean

something that is not an easy option so maybe if you if you learn a harsh lesson

if you learn a harsh lesson life isn't a bed of roses yes people often say that's

it so it's difficult it's hard it's it's something that takes a lot of effort to

get right your boss might say to you you need to

work harder if you want to keep this job what do you think this this this working

here is like a bed of roses so that's it you've got to you've got to make an

effort to do something life is not a bed of

roses it is not easy it is not fair here's another one be in bed with Oh to

be in bed with I thought I thought that was an invitation

well I've you know any offers accepted or get in bed with so what that means is

if you get in bed with somebody it means you're becoming too closely aligned with

them if you work with a person or organization that causes others to

distrust you it means you're getting into bed with them if you get into bed

with the enemy for example or a rival company if you get in bed with the enemy

it means that you're like a double agent it means that you're secretly getting

involved with people you shouldn't do and then that makes you untrustworthy

with colleagues could be at work for example you could be in bed with with a

group of you could be in bed with another company you might be passing

secrets over to another company you're in bed with the enemy you could be in

bed with criminals you could be it means you associate with with people you

shouldn't be yes and you become untrustworthy to have a an allegiance

allegiance with to get into to be in bed with somebody it just means you're

closely aligned and it's usually meant in a negative way that you are somebody

not to be trusted because your loyalties are lying elsewhere ok mr. Duncan that's

the wrong side of the bed that's that's you everyday isn't it if somebody says

it means I think you're irritable and moody and that's what that means so if

we don't literally mean the left side of the bed now we just mean it's just an

expression now that means that things as the days gone wrong and things

everything's got you might self God everything's gone wrong today I must

have got out of bed the wrong side so there we go

that's often your case isn't it Steve you you you wake up in the morning and

you're all grumpy and Nonie that's right and you say ah and I say what's wrong oh

I know what the problem is you you've got out of bed on the wrong side yes

something's gone wrong pretty pretty early on in the morning it

could have been that you arrive at work and you've been caught in bad traffic

somebody's cut me what you've had an argument with somebody on the road it's

like you in a bad mood straightaway yes at the expression Oh what I'm did you

get out of bed the wrong side this morning it usually used to make somebody

real without saying to the mob well you're in a bad mood today

it sort of meant to make somebody realize that their behavior is it's not

normal and that they're sort of being irritable and bad-tempered and you don't

want them to be yes so instead of saying to the mom you know stop being so very

irritable you just say in a sort of a light-hearted way or did you get out of

the wrong side of the bed today it's it's less confrontational if you say

that phrase yes it's a subtle hint it's a subtle hint

exactly mr. Duncan you're just saying I don't think you're very happy today did

you get out of bed on the wrong side yes it's said in it said in a sort of

light-hearted and they make not realize what I said Oh

am i sorry oh I didn't realize I was I was being a bit moody today yeah maybe

you can learn something from that Steve I don't know what you mean but of course

we're talking about being in bed being sleepy but when you get up in the

morning people might say to you if you're reluctant to get out of bed

they might say rise and shine rise and shine that means get out of bed and be

positive and full of energy just like the Sun is bright and shiny so come on

mr. Duncan rise and shine we've got a long drive

today to go and meet my parents oh dear all right come on rise and shine get off

to school you know I don't want to get up today no rise and shine it's just an

expression that people often use just means get up be bright be energetic it's

just like a throwaway comment read and you say in a friendly ways try and

encourage somebody to get out of bed so rise from your bed and shine that's it

came along no because I I've never been on social media before Facebook there

was something called myspace alright okay who remembers my space my space oh

my goodness so you could you can always tell the the people that have been on

the internet for a very long time because they remember MySpace

that was the place where everyone hung out is it's true of all ages so that was

that was what came along before Facebook arrived and of course nowadays a lot of

people don't use face book they've moved on to something else

especially the youngsters Google Google oh I'd like to see what people are

saying but people are giving their answers should we see what people are

saying yes it's on the screen now so where people are accusing is it

yes it's an unusual show today but we do apologize if we haven't followed the

live chat as closely as we usually do okay

was created by Steve Jobs Apple when was Apple formed and you might have to cast

have to go back a very very long way Apple was created in 1976 oh yes

married his mother so you know it's gonna cause you a bit of worry that

isn't it yeah I know I think ever cause most people a bit of worry and he's you

know his mind is working over and over and he's very worried and then halfway

through this soliloquy or sort of rhyme he says to sleep perchance to dream I

there's the rub for in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have

shuffled off this mortal coil must give us pause there's the respect that makes

calamity of so long life so what hambert is saying is to sleep in other words to

die in this particular in this particular meaning maybe it's a dream

but if you die and then you carry on dreaming there's the rub

there's the catch what you know what are you going to dream about when you die is

it going to be worse than what you've got when you're alive so it is the big

unanswered question you know it's so he's thinking of suicide but then he's

he's having doubts because maybe be worse off dead because you know his

dreams could be even worse his his this mortal coil that he's on now when we say

mortal coil that just means all the all the hustle and bustle and the activities

of everyday life and that worries and the pressures it could be worse when

you're dead so he's saying you know I don't know what he does in the end but

you know that's what that means so maybe to be stopping pausing for thought or

maybe it's worth maybe I'm worse off dead than alive it's it's troublesome

now everything's going wrong for me now but oh I'm not gonna kill myself because

it could be worse yeah let's stop let's have a think about that it's all about

contemplation is contemplating life death what it all means what happens

after so yes well it's one of the things that Shakespeare did a lot of he did a
