Learn the English Phrases COME ON OVER and COME ON IN

So in this English lesson,

I wanted to help you learn the English phrase, come on over.

sometimes uses so many words to say something so simple.

When you say to someone come on over,

it simply means that you want them to come to your house.

You could just say, come over.

You could just say, Hey, do you want to come to my house?

But sometimes we say, Hey, do you want to come on over later

Hey, why don't you come on in and let's have a cup of tea,

or why don't you come on in and we'll have a cup of tea.

And again, I could just say,

why don't you come in and have a cup of tea?

I could say, let's go in the house and have a cup of tea.

But instead, because English is crazy and silly

and a little bit complicated,

sometimes we say things like, why don't you come on in?

So to review, if you were far away,

For sure, the other day, it was a little strange.

확실히 다른 날은 조금 이상했습니다.

but towards the end it got really windy

and leaves were falling off the tree

and it just didn't feel like August.

It felt like October almost.

but one of the reasons leaves are falling off right now
