So we have a saying in English

that laughter is the best medicine.

When you're sick and you go to the doctor,

the doctor sometimes prescribes medicine for you

that you take so that you will get better.

But we have a saying laughter is the best medicine

because we know that if you're feeling down

or if you're just not feeling really good

on a certain day, sometimes a good laugh

really, really helps.

Sometimes having someone tell you a really funny joke

can be quite helpful.

Sometimes watching a funny video can be quite helpful.

I know I really like to watch

the late night host Jimmy Fallon.

I'm not sure if you know him,

but his show is really funny.

And for me, when I watch him I laugh a lot

and laughter, for me, is the best medicine.

I really think it helps me a lot.

we actually also sometimes call it a belly laugh.

Like you laugh so hard

that you have to hold your stomach.

Or we have a phrase as well,

rolling on the floor laughing.

That's kind of a phrase that originated on the internet.

I like it when I watch something funny

or when someone tells me a joke

and it just makes me have a really good belly laugh,

just a really good laugh.

And I feel like I've taken some really good medicine.
