NEW YEAR'S EVE - A Really Short English Lesson with Subtitles

So it's December 31st, 2019.

It is New Year's Eve.

This is the last day of 2019.

We have two ways of saying the year in English.

We say 2019 and we say 2019,

but this is the last day.

Tonight in Canada and around the world

people will be having New Year's Eve parties,

but I just wanted to make a short video today

just to say thank you so much

for watching my YouTube videos.

It is really cool for me to see the number of views

that my videos get and I get a real kick out of it.

In English, when you say

you get a real kick out of something,

it means that it brings you joy.

So thank you very much for making 2019 a great year for me.
