So for Sunday, the very first word after me is procrastination.

Now this word procrastination, it literally just means the act

of delaying or postponing tasks.

There's something you have to do, something that needs to be done.

But instead of doing it, I'll do it later.

I'll push it off.

You are procrastinating.

So procrastination.

Now this year, I don't want you to procrastinate.

I need you to take your English to the next level.

So let's check out some example sentences using this word.

Sentence number one.

There are many different tasks that you have to complete by the end of the day.

Instead, you want to start with the most important task.

You want to, you got it, prioritize.

certain things as I'm teaching you.

I am, right now, in this moment, multitasking.

While multitasking may seem efficient, studies show that it often

I am focused on getting this task completed.

We call this deep work.

For twenty twenty four, to start off this year, I have a story for you.

So this one, I hope, will encourage you.

So a few weeks ago, I found a plan online, a workout plan, because I was

going to the gym and then I stopped, then I started, then I stopped.

I was going back and fourth, and I wasn't being consistent.

So I said, okay, Tiff.

You have to find a plan.

You know I always talk about plans.

Right?

Well, not just English plans.

Plans can apply to so many aspects of your life.

And for me, I needed a workout plan.

I needed something to show me on Monday, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,

Friday, which exercises I needed to do.

I found a plan.

I put it in my, uh, computer, and I was ready.

But the very first day before I went to the gym to start this plan, I

happen to be listening to a podcast.

There's a guy, and he has a podcast where he talks about exercising.

He talks about running a business.

So I really relate to him because he loves exercise and

he also is building a business.

But in this episode, during the episode, he was talking to his

guest, and two things came out.

The very first thing came out.

It was this.

When it comes to exercising, it's not about what you do.

It's about being consistent.

And something about that phrase really hit home for me.

Okay.

It's not about what I'm doing.

It's about being consistent.

And the second thing that was said was just do it.

He said, sometimes you'll get up in the morning, you'll lay in the bed,

you're awake, and you'll say, uh, I'm not really feeling it today.

Or, uh, maybe I can go later.

Or or maybe you'll get on your phone and start swiping and looking at your friend's

pictures or something on social media.

You'll start doing things that push back your plan.

Uh, well, maybe I can exercise this afternoon instead of this morning.

And the guest on this show said, no.

Just do it.

Don't think about it.

Just get up and do it.

So this is what was filling my mind.

These two statements were filling my mind as I traveled to the

gym at five AM that morning.

So I got to the gym, and I hadn't been running in a long time.

Right?

So my legs weren't used to the consistent movement, uh, fast movement because I

hadn't been running in several months.

So I got on the treadmill.

And as soon as I got on the treadmill, two things came to mind again.

Be consistent, Tiff, and just do it.

My plan was to go for thirty minutes.

Remember, I hadn't been running in a while, but I said, Tiff, thirty minutes.

Just be consistent.

Just do it.

So I started running.

And when I get back into running, I'll do intervals.

I'll run for two minutes, walk for two minutes, run for two minutes,

walk for two minutes, and I'll slowly increase the amount of time that I run.

And that's exactly what I was doing.

So when I got to that three minute run, two minute walk.

Three minute run, two minute walk.

I started hearing voices in my head.

Tiff, hey.

It's the first day.

You don't have to do thirty minutes.

Just do fifteen.

It's okay.

You could do twenty tomorrow immediately.

Be consistent, Tiff.

Just do it, Tiff.

And the thoughts that I had first thing in the morning started to

supersede the other thoughts.

I said, no.

I'm gonna do thirty minutes.

Why?

Because I have a plan.

Just be consistent, just do it.

And I did it.

I finished that thirty minute period.

And do you know what happened?

I felt so much confidence.

It was just a thirty minute run.

That's all it was.

I was exercising, I I wasn't doing anything for anyone else, but it

affected me for the rest of the day.

Why am I sharing this with you?

Because you, my friend, you have a plan for twenty twenty four.

You have a plan for this year.

You want to achieve things this year.

I want to tell you two things.

Be consistent and just do it.

You're gonna have ups and downs, but keep going forward, you'll be

amazed how much your life is going to change this year, not just your

English, but your life in general.

I want you to also remember that I believe in you.

Yes.

You.

I believe that you will achieve your English goals.

And throughout the rest of this year, for the next twelve months, I

am going to be dedicated to helping you achieve your English goals.

I am dedicated to you.
