What does the word twist mean, Vicki?

It means to bend or turn something into a particular shape so tongue twisters are phrases

that twist your tongue.

They’re difficult to say quickly, so they’re great pronunciation practice.

But the big difference is I pronounce the t in eating.

It’s little like a very fast D sound in American.
