In this video ,we are going to focus on the two consonant sounds /b/ and /p/.

I know they sound very similar but they are actually different.

So what you're going to do, the first thing is,

but they are actually quite different in English.

Let's take two example words to begin with.

The first word is ‘cot’.

Now I know they may sound very similar

The sounds /t/ and /d/.

소리 /t/와 /d/입니다.

They can be confusing.

혼란스러울 수 있습니다.

They sound quite the same but they are different.

그것들은 꽤 비슷하게 들리지만 다릅니다.

And they are very important sounds in English

그리고 영어에서는 매우 중요한 소리

so I want you to be able to  pronounce them correctly.

Let's take two example words first.

먼저 두 가지 예시 단어를 살펴보겠습니다.

My first word is the word ‘bat’

나의 첫 번째 단어는

with a final /t/ sound.

마지막 /t/ 소리가 나는 'bat'라는 단어입니다.

It's different from my second word.

두 번째 단어와는 다릅니다.

With a final /d/ sound.
