There are many things I love about this city,

but one thing about Bangkok

that I love the most is that this city has many,

내가 가장 좋아하는 한 가지는 이 도시에

many great dining places.

The restaurant that I’m going to take you

to today is quite special.

오늘 안내할 식당은 아주 특별합니다.

It combines the world of the old and the new.

그것은 오래된 세계와 새로운 세계를 결합합니다 .

Normally, you don’t need to make a booking

일반적으로 방콕에서 외식을 하려면 예약을 할 필요가 없지만

if you want to eat out in Bangkok,

,

but this restaurant is quite special,

이 레스토랑은 꽤 특별하기

so I have to book a table, I think.

때문에 테이블을 예약해야 할 것 같습니다.

All right, we are walking to the restaurant now.

It’s a little bit dark but I feel safe, don’t worry.

This restaurant is situated in the Old Town of Bangkok.

It is also by the Chao Phraya River.

차오프라야 강 옆에도 있습니다.

For me, this restaurant is a hidden gem in Bangkok,

나에게 이 레스토랑은 방콕의 숨은 보석이다.

because the food is delicious and the restaurant is beautiful,

왜냐하면 음식도 맛있고 레스토랑도 아름답고

so beautiful it’s breathtaking,

숨이 멎을 정도로 아름답고

and it has a spectacular view overlooking the river.

강이 내려다보이는 멋진 전망을 가지고 있기 때문이다.

The word spectacular here means very exciting to look at.

여기서 장관이라는 단어는 보기에 매우 흥미진진하다는 의미입니다.

우리는 지금 여기에 있습니다.

let’s go and take a look inside.

This restaurant, if you ask me,

is charmingly decorated and there’s plenty

아기자기하게 꾸며져 있고

of antique stuff.

The word antique means something made in an earlier period

골동품이라는 단어는

that is collected and considered to have value

because it is beautiful, rare, old,

아름답고 희귀하거나 오래되었거나

or of high quality.

고품질이기 때문에 수집되고 가치가 있다고 여겨지는 이전 시대에 만들어진 것을 의미합니다.

The restaurant is

a little bit small but it is very romantic,

조금 작지만

if you ask me.

It makes me feel

as if I have travelled back in time to the old days of Bangkok.

옛날 방콕으로 시간여행을 온 듯한 기분이 듭니다.

That is Wat Arun, over there.

The word wat in Thai means a temple.

태국어로 와트라는 단어는 사원을 의미합니다.

It is known as the Temple of the Dawn in English.

영어로는 새벽의 사원(Temple of the Dawn)이라고 합니다.

It is a very significant historical landmark in Bangkok.

방콕에서 매우 중요한 역사적 랜드마크입니다.

If you want to visit this restaurant, I suggest

이 레스토랑을 방문하고 싶다면

that you come in the evening,

저녁에 방문하는 것을 추천합니다.

because when the sun sets,

왜냐하면 해가 지면

the view outside is even more picturesque,

바깥 풍경이 훨씬 더 아름답기 때문입니다. -

a word here which means,

especially of a place, attractive in appearance,

especially in an old-fashioned way.

구식 방법.

In Thailand, it is very common to share different side dishes,

태국에서는 다양한 반찬을 함께 나누는 것이 매우 일반적이며

while rice is our main staple.

쌀은 우리의 주식입니다.

A side dish is an extra dish of food,

사이드 디쉬는 별도의 접시에 메인 디시와 함께 제공되는 야채 또는 샐러드와 같은 음식의 추가 접시입니다

for example vegetables

or salad that is served with the main dish,

sometimes on a separate plate.

Another thing you should know,
