Meet Angela!

Hello, everyone.

I am Angela, one of the new YouTuber presenters

at the channel Learn English with Cambridge.

Can you see my big smile?

I’m very excited about being one of the new YouTuber presenters

at the channel.

When I knew I was one of the chosen one,

it was, like, what?

Are you serious?

I was speechless for a couple of seconds.

I can’t wait to show you all the topics that I have in mind.

I have always loved English language and culture.

For these reasons, when I was six or seven,

I have attended English lessons.

What I did enjoy the most was playing with

words and tongue twisters, I’m not very good at them,

but let me try one out.

As you can see, tongue twisters are

a really great way to practice and improve

pronunciation and fluency by using alliteration.

And what’s alliteration?

It’s the repetition of sounds.

In the past, I have travelled

during the summer holidays to different

English-speaking places, such as Cambridge, Oxford,

London, or Dublin.

I can vividly remember the experience.

I was born and bred in Cordoba.

Cordoba is a small city in the south of Spain.

It is in the region of Andalusia and you know what?

It’s unbearably hot in summer.

However, there are lovely places filled with colourful flowers.

What I like the most about this city is that it’s very small,

lovely, and welcoming.

Let us go for a walk.

How about my free time?

I am keen on taking pictures, drawing, and watching series.

I am a sporty person, so I do enjoy going out to

the countryside for long walks.

With long walks, I need peace.

Top secret, I spend a great deal of time watching YouTube videos

about baking, but I never do it.

I’m very bad at it.

I work in an English school and I help

students to achieve their goals.

And you know what?

This is what I love the most.

I’m a passionate person about sharing, teaching,

learning, and helping.

So, this is where the journey begins.

I can’t wait to see you all at the channel Learn
