We got an email from Afghanistan, and I'd like to read it to you just to let you know

what's happening everywhere, and it's not just Afghanistan.

I live in Afghanistan.

I am a girl.

I want to study, I want to improve, but it's not possible in our country.

And it really made me angry when I was researching about this lesson, because...

Not that everything makes me angry these days.

We still have a lot of inequality around the world with men and women.

I don't care what country you live in, doesn't

matter, I'm not picking out countries here,

the amount of inequality between men and women is astonishing.

That means it's really bad.

Men and women are still not paid equally for the same fucking job they're doing.

And this is one thing that really pisses me off, and it happens all the time, and it's

even women-to-women, or woman-to-woman.

Other women will look at another lady and go, "Oh my god.

Like, what's wrong with her hair?

Like, what is she wearing?

Hey, dude, relax.

Stop judging other women based on what they're

wearing, how their nails are, what their makeup's

like, what their hair's like.

Who cares?

Are they good people?"

That's what you should be focusing on.

So, putting other women down is something that must stop, especially amongst us, us

ladies, ladies of the night.

So, I'm not even talking about the men view of women; I'm talking about our own view of

women.

So, the next time you're at the mall or wherever

you go and you're judging women, stop it.

Just mind your own business, go in your store and buy your latte, okay?

Take the focus off of them and put it on you, empower yourself.

You are your own powerhouse.

You rock it, girl.

Have you ever seen, like, drag queen shows?

Do you see the confidence in the men who are dressed like women?

I thought, "Do you know what?

If every woman on the planet had the confidence

of a drag queen, ladies, we'd be rocking the

entire world."

Well, we still do.

But take that as an example.

They know they've got, like, really big, I don't know, bodies, and they're like, "Oh,

I look like a man."

But they don't care.

They're just like, "I rock it like Madonna."

So, get inspiration from drag queens.

Now, start at home, okay?

Do you have a daughter or daughters?

Do you have a wife?

Do you have sisters?

Do you have aunts?

Do you have moms?

Do you have cousins?

Are they women?

Start right at home.

Empower your ladies right in front of you.

One thing that I see a lot that really annoys

me, probably because I was a tomboy, is a

lot of people call their daughters "my little princess".

What about "my little warrior" or "my little go-getter"?

Why do all girls have to be fucking princesses, all right?

We're not princesses, men.

We're not going to be wearing ball gowns and having a man save us.

No, we're going to save ourself, and we're going to battle through and kill it.

So, here's an idea.

Why don't you call your daughter by her name and not "princess"?

Mm-hmm.

Yeah, save that for your son, will you?

Just call your son a princess.

Look at your wife.

She's beautiful.

She's gorgeous.

She gave you kids, or she's putting up with your bullshit, okay?

Empower the people around you.

Empower the people around you.

Empower the women around you first.

These are some ways where we can develop our younger generation.

So, education, number one.

I can't stress to you how much educating women and girls is important.

In a lot of countries, men are given the opportunity

for education, but women, oh no, they'll just

stay home and have babies and get married.

Educate women equally as men.

And I know that sounds weird coming from me,

living in a country like Canada, where we're

supposed to be equal, but when I see other countries, I'm just like, "What?

You didn't get to go to school because you have a vagina?

That's not cool, man.

This is from you, and you're giving it to other people."

Self-confidence.

You can wear my cape.

You can borrow my cape one day.

Just call me up and say, "Hey, Ronnie, can I borrow your cape?"

I'm going to build some self-confidence, okay?

You put on whatever clothes you want.

You rock to the supermarket in your cape, and you

exert, which means, like, glow self-confidence

to people.

Women, we need to do this more.

Who cares if you're having a bad hair day or you don't like, oh my god, your outfit

that day?

It doesn't matter.

Use your power within you to help people understand, "Hey, guess what?

I'm amazing, and you're amazing, too, so let's rock this shit."

Support.

You need other women or men, other people

around you-doesn't matter-to help you instead

of putting you down.

That's what I said at kind of the beginning when I hear women being "catty".

"Catty" means, like, they put each other down, like, "Oh my god.

What shoes are you wearing?

Don't be a catty bitch.

Don't insult women just to make yourself higher."

So, you need to support girls, you need to

give them confidence, you need to say, "Hey,

are you having a bad day?

Sit down, let's talk about it.

Oh, you didn't get the promotion because

you're a girl, but a man in your company did.

Let's sit down, talk about it, and kick some

ass at your boss's next house, reunion thing,

party."

Role models.

Oh, this can go either way sometimes.

I can't imagine the number of young girls who want to be, like, some singers that I

know that I won't mention because they make me sick.

Picking and choosing your role models is something that is very important.

Choosing a sexy rock star might not be the best idea.

Look for women who are intelligent, look for

women who change the world, look for women

who do things independently.

If you choose Madonna, awesome, but, you know, choose other people, too.

Get political.

I strongly recommend separate bank accounts.

And huge, make your own decisions.

I think it was two years ago, something terrible

happened in America, US of A, there, and they

made abortion illegal in certain states.

So, when I say make your own decisions, I mean for everything.

You want to have a baby?

Have a baby.

You don't want to have a baby?

Handle it and make your own decisions.

Get an abortion, drive to another state, drive to Canada.

Get it done.

Don't let other people tell you what to do.

You want to go to university and study to be a pilot?

"Oh, but girls aren't fighter pilots."

If you want to do a typical man job, like be a firefighter, girl, you rock that shit.

You do it, whatever it takes, you get that done.

So, I hope by all of this we can see a bit of the anger dissipating.

I want more equality in the world, and I want

you to fight for it, because I'm going to
