The problem is a lot of students don't pronounce it,

The problem is the person is mixing tenses.

They're going from the past to the present

and back to the past.

And when you're telling a series of events like this,

you need to stay in the past tense, simple as that.

First of all, be really clear about how to pronounce

There are three sounds, right?

It's more quiet and the weather is better.

- All right, did you get it?

This is what they said,

and what they should have said is this.

"I like Santander more than London,

it's quieter and the weather is better,"

not more quiet, it's quieter.

This is a mistake with comparatives.

이것은 비교급에서 발생하는 실수이다.

When you're comparing two things with an adjective

of one syllable, you add er,

한 음절의 형용사로 두 가지 사물을 비교할 때는 'er,

quiet, quieter.

quiet, quieter'를 붙입니다.

If the adjectives have two or three or more syllables,

형용사가 두 음절 이나 세 음절 이상인 경우

then you use more,

에는 'more', '

more interesting, more beautiful, more economic.

more interesting', 'more beautiful', 'more economic'을 사용합니다.

But if it's one syllable, it's er, okay?

So instead of tall, "Oh, it's more tall."

Fewer people, because here we use less

with uncountable nouns, right?

But if the noun like people is countable,

하지만 people이라는 명사가 셀 수 있는 명사라면,

you can count people, right?

사람도 셀 수 있지 않나요?

One person, two people, three people.

한 사람, 두 사람, 세 사람.

If you can count them, then it's fewer.

셀 수 있다면 그 수는 더 적습니다.

There are fewer people here, okay?

여기는 사람이 적잖아요?

So less with uncountable nouns

따라서

like water, air, coffee, traffic.

water, air, coffee, traffic과 같은 무수량명사를 덜 사용합니다.

You can't count them.

셀 수 없을 정도예요.

Fewer with countable nouns like people, cars, cups,

사람, 자동차, 컵,

cups of coffee.

커피 한 잔과 같은 가산명사를 사용하는 경우는 적습니다.

You can count those, okay?

그거 셀 수 있어요, 알겠어요?

So this is the key to correcting this mistake

is when you're practicing and thinking about it,

just think, can I count this, right?

If it's rice, you can't count rice.

Ah, rice. two rice, no.

You can count grains of rice, but not rice,

so it's less rice.

But if you're counting grains of rice,

then fewer grains of rice.

The other thing to do is generally memorize

And I think the three common ones are,

This is what they said, and what should they have said?

Because it's an embedded question,

it's not a direct question.

The direct question is, "Where is my book?"

But if you have a phrase or a clause before that,

It's like an inversion, right, for embedded questions.

So there's no question mark,

'cause it's not really a question.

There are many kinds of embedded questions.

The most common ones are,

"I don't know where..."

"Do you know where..."

"I have no idea where..."

Okay, of course, you can use this with any question word.

I think the best thing you can do
