Make a killing. I'm gonna be great  for them they could make a killing.

This idiom is not about actual killing someone. This means to make a lot of money, to have a great

this means that you’re not gonna try to  change the situation you’re just gonna

This is a great phrase when you  are in a kind of a tricky situation

and you wanna say that you accept what’s going on  and let it go, you’re just gonna go with the flow.

The next one is A mile a minute. 

다음은 1분에 1마일입니다.

This idiom is used to describe something that  is happening very quickly, extremely quickly,

for example, we could say that someone is  talking a mile a minute, this means he’s or

an opportunity or the chance. If you miss the boat,

you fail to take an action in time so  you lose an advantage of an opportunity.

If you don't buy clothes on  sale, you will miss the boat.

The next I’m on top of the world. 

다음에는 내가 세계 정상에 있습니다.

If things are going really well for you  

일이 정말 순조롭게 진행되고

and you feel happy you can say “I  feel like I’m on top of the world”. 

행복하다고 느끼면 “ 내가 세계 정상에 있는 것 같아”라고 말할 수 있습니다.

After my morning yoga exercise  I feel on top of the world. 

아침 요가 운동을 하고 나면 세상 최고가 된 기분입니다.

describe the opposite of this feeling you can use the phrase I can’t win

When you are feeling that your mood is not good  and you’re getting worse, just say “I can’t win”

This doesn’t mean you’re gonna literally win  a game or something, it’s just the way of

다음은 턱을 들어 올리세요. Keep your chin up은

is the phrase that is often used in the United  States when people want to encourage a person  

미국에서 사람들이 사람을 격려할 때 자주 사용하는 문구입니다.

they say – Keep your chin up, this means  to stay positive in a negative situation

Keep your chin up, 이것은 부정적인 상황에서 긍정적인 태도를 유지하는 것을 의미합니다. 지금 세상

Things that are happening in the  world right now made me feel unhappy  

에서 일어나고 있는 일들이 나를 만들었습니다. 불행하다고 느끼고

and I couldn't film videos,  I couldn't make scripts,

The next one is to be at a loss. If someone is at a loss, they don’t know what to  

다음은 헤매는 것입니다. 누군가 헤매면 무엇을 해야 할지 모릅니다

do. When something really bad happens, for example  when someone’s died, you can say – I’m sorry,  

. 예를 들어 누군가가 죽었을 때와 같이 정말 나쁜 일이 발생하면 다음과 같이 말할 수 있습니다.

I’m at a loss, this means it’s very sad so  you don’t know what to say. I'm was at a loss.

A lot of people in my country are at a loss  right now because of a geopolitic situation.

우리나라의 많은 사람들이 지정학적 상황으로 인해 어려움에 처해 있습니다.

Let’s move on to the next phrase Right Up my Alley. Sounds right up my alley. 

다음 문구 Right Up my Alley로 넘어갑시다. 내 골목 바로 소리.

We use this phrase to describe something  that is exactly the way we like it,  

우리는 이 문구를 사용하여 정확히 우리가 좋아하는 방식,

exactly how we want it. It’s a positive idiom,  because if something is right up your alley,

it goes with your interests and preferences,  it’s something that you really really like.

If someone tells you this phrase that means  he’s going to protect you or help you with

your problems. Don’t worry. I got your back This means - you can rely on me. I will support  

. 괜찮아요. 내가 당신의 등을 받겠습니다 이것은 당신이 나를 의지할 수 있다는 것을 의미합니다.

you in a difficult situation. It’s a very good natural idiom.

어려운 상황에서 당신을 지원하겠습니다. 아주 좋은 자연어입니다.

This idiom is kind of strange because everyone  knows that horses don’t talk, but it’s

often used by Americans and British people If you’ve heard something that was straight  

미국인과 영국인이 자주 사용합니다 말의 입에서 나온 말을 들은 적이 있다면

from the horse’s mouth that means this is true,  this information is from most reliable source.

이것이 사실임을 의미하는 것입니다. 이 정보는 가장 신뢰할 수 있는 출처에서 나온 것입니다.

To pull someone’s leg – to deceive  someone or play a joke on someone 

To pull someone's leg – 누군가를 속이거나 장난을 치다

Don't believe him. He's just pulling your leg.

Don't believe him. 그는 단지 당신의 다리를 당기고 있습니다.

To sit on the fence is to avoid  making a decision or choice. 

담장에 앉는 것은 결정이나 선택을 피하는 것입니다.

If you sit on the fence, you refuse to make a  choice, or you don’t want to decide what to do.

울타리에 앉아 있으면 선택을 거부하거나 무엇을 해야 할지 결정하고 싶지 않습니다.

give the benefit of a doubt When you believe someone and you  

의심의 여지를 주다 누군가를 믿고

don’t look for any proof of what he or she’s  saying, then you give the benefit of a doubt.  

그 사람의 말에 대한 증거를 찾지 않을 때 의심의 여지를 주는 것입니다.

When you’re sure that another  person is telling you the truth  

다른 사람이 당신에게 진실을 말하거나

or doing the right thing. This idiom means "to trust."

옳은 일을 하고 있다고 확신할 때. 이 관용구는 "신뢰하다"를 의미합니다.
