Such a Long Journey

Hello, my brothers and sisters! Today, we  are going to learn English. Follow me. Oh  

my God. I'm really keen to go to Jaipur  and here is my suitcase as you all can  

see and let me tell you I have packet light. 

But what does it mean?

It means I have taken a small amount of luggage  with me as you all can see and now we're gonna  

hit the road means we are gonna set out for a  journey and let me tell you one more thing. These  

all are luggage. What are they? Luggage. Not luggages.  It's not luggages or baggages. It's always luggage.  

There is no plural form of luggage. It's always  luggage. No luggages. It's not like luggages. It's  

always luggage. I hope this was new information for  you and now let's hit the road. Come on, follow me.

Didi, how much time will it take to load the bags  in the taxi? Harika, cool your jets.

Cool your jets? Didi, what does it mean?  

Harika, cool your jets or cool one's jets means  to become calm and not so excited or worried.  

Okay, Didi, thank you! The taxi driver helped us  load the luggage in the boot or the trunk.

Ma, what is the time? It's  nine o'clock. Oh my God, I thought we would leave  

early in the morning. So, I got up at the crack  of dawn. What do you mean by the crack of dawn?  

Harika the crack of dawn means very early  in the morning when the sun first appears.  

So, Didi, that means we will not be  catching the red eye. I thought I would  

be a night owl. Dear Learners, catch  red eye means to catch a late night

flight. To catch red eye. And the night owl  means a person who is habitually active or  

wakeful at night. I am a night owl. What  about you? Write in the comment box.

We briefly went through the security check  here. Finally we reached Bangalore airport after  

being in the cab for almost one hour. This  airport is around 45 kilometers away from  

our home. It's really quite far. We can fly to  Jaipur from New Delhi in less than one hour.  

We unloaded the luggage from the taxi and waited  for the trolley. This is where I forgot to switch  

on the mic and Havisha's Voice couldn't have  been recorded, only the visuals. She wanted to  

explain something over here. Later on while editing  when she came to know that there was no audio in  

this clip, she was unhappy. Anyway, this is not the  first time the audio could not have been recorded.  

It happened on multiple occasions and we had to  shoot the video again. This is the departure gate  

of the airport where we are waiting for our turn.  This is the outside view of the airport.  

There are many booking counters over here for  booking tickets, but we booked the tickets online.  

Again Havisha was eager to record a video here.  But I told her not to do so. Our turn would have  

come anytime for the entry to the airport building.  Right now we are at the check-in counter number 28  

to drop off the luggage. There are many check-in  counters over here. I have placed the bag on the  

conveyor belt to weigh the bag's weight. Its  weight is visible here as you can see 11.4  

kg. The airline agent is now attaching a tag  to Havisha's Barbie doll bag. The details of  

our journey like the destination and the flight  number would be mentioned on the tag so that the  

bag would not be missed during entire Journey  from source to destination. This is called the  

check-in encounter where check-in bags are dropped. We  got our boarding passes from the check-in counter  

and headed towards the security check. Havisha is holding  Shyam Sunder in the basket. Shyam Sunder is resting inside it.  

We have gone through the security check  and now heading towards the boarding gate.

We started early. We couldn't finish  our breakfast. So, now the kids are  

having their breakfast. Harika is  still holding her Kanha with her. 

We boarded the flight. The flight was on time. Keshu  got the window seat as usual. Harika and Havisha  

are sitting at the back. Harika too got the window  seat. Havisha and I got the middle seat. Younger  

ones get the best and Elders have to compromise or  I would say sacrifice for their younger ones. Right?  

Keshu is holding his lollipop and not taking  off his goggles even on the flight. He wants to  

see everything through his goggles. He also has a  small Kanha with him, just under the seat belt. Just  

copying Harika. He has already fastened the seat  belt. Good boy. Now, the flight is taxiing towards the  

runway to take off. Havisha and Harika have also  got their lollipops, licking them and enjoying  

sitting alone at the back. Havisha is peeping through  the gap between the seats. Keshu is teasing her.  

Keshu is so small that he is not able to  reach up to the window and look through it.  

The pilot has increased the speed of the airplane  to make it ready for takeoff. Now, very soon the  

airplane's wheels will be off the ground. Yes, here  it is. The airplane in the air and taking off. Now,  

I can see the area around the airport. This is not  Bangalore City because this airport is quite far  

from the city. This area is yet to be developed. You  can see a village near the airport. Now, we are in  

the clouds. This is really a beautiful view. Isn't  it? [Music] Keshu is peeping through the gap and  

checking out what the two princesses are doing at the  back. Harika is getting ready for another round of  

her meal. Havisha was trying to record a video but Harika  and Keshu were disturbing her. She was getting  

cheesed off and showed her bossiness over them. She  showed her anger and rebuked them. Unfortunately,  

it was recorded in the camera. Have a look at  how she showed her bossiness over her siblings.

Do you know what this is called? This is called a window shade.

Harika is very hungry. So, she is eating her food.

This thing is called a tray table. And let me tell you. This place which is available for keep our legs, is called leg room.

This is called leg room. Harika has large leg room. I also have large one.

This bag is called, it's called a barf bag. What is it  called? Barf bag. If you're feeling vomit sensation  

then you can open this barf bag and vomit.  Airborne means when the flight, see, for example  

this is the runway. The flight will go like this  and then the flight will go like this. So, this kind  

of position of the flight is called take off and  then when the flight goes straight, it's called  

airborne and when the flight does like this and  lands, that position is called Landing. Right now

you got it. After an hour the kids got tired of  looking outside through the window and felt drowsy  

because there was nothing to see outside the  airplane besides the clouds, the sky, and the Sun.  

Harika used the tray table to sleep. The sun  is peeping through the window to see us. It's  

bright and shiny. We are about to land at Jaipur  city as you can see outside a view of the city.

Didi, there is something happening in my ears.

Arre, Harika, this is the one it is called ears popping.

Right now, the airplane is getting ready to  land and let me tell you. Harika's and my ears  

are popping. Now, what do you mean by ears  popping? Let me tell you. If your ears pop  

then you feel a strong feeling in your  ears due to a sudden change in air pressure.  

Keshu tried to pull the window shade  down to shut the window but we should  

not close the window while landing  and taking off for safety. [Music]  

Yes, we have landed. Now, the wheels of the  airplane are on the runway. We got off the  

flight. The passengers are clicking photographs  with this background. The background is quite good.  

Havisha also wanted to have one but she is not leaving  the basket where our Shyam Sunder rests. Now,  

we are heading towards the carousel or I would  say conveyor belt where we will get our luggage. 

Keshu is enjoying the view.  Havisha liked the ambience of this Airport.  

Isn't it amazing, wonderful, and um marvelous.  Havisha got some toys to give to her friends in Jaipur.

Havisha is waiting for her bag. This is called  Carousel. What is it called? Carousel.  

It is called carousel.

We received our luggage and put them on the  trolley along with Harika and Keshu. Keshu  

is having fun. This is the QR code that has the  details of the tourist places in Rajasthan. You  

can just scan it through your mobile camera and it  will take you to the YouTube channel of Rajasthan  

tourism. All the details will be on your phone.  This is called arrival gate. We have come out of  

the Jaipur Airport Building and we are waiting  for my father to pick us up. Right now, I'm waiting for my  

grandfather to come and pick us up so that we can go to  our house after such a long journey. [Music]

We are en route to our home. The sun is on  the horizon and about to set. We are lucky that we  

didn't face much traffic on the road. This is the  World Trade park building in Jaipur. This is quite  

huge. Mr Shahrukh Khan inaugurated it. This mall  was awarded Mall of the Year and best architecture.  

Havisha is still holding the basket. Harika  is also still holding her Kanha.

This is dusk and we are about to reach our home.

We are late but Havisha is very excited.
