I have been asked if I could repeat the phrase about chickens.

It is a great expression.

Don't count your chickens

before they've hatched,

so you might have the eggs, but it doesn't mean

all of those eggs will  hatch out and have chickens.

So sometimes it is best to be patient

to wait before something happens.

It means you have to wait patiently.

You have to wait until whatever happens happens

because you don't really know  whether something will go 

well or not.

So you might be making plans for the future.

However, it is always best  not to count your chickens

before they have hatched out because they might not all appear.
