Meeting my English students at the Colosseum in Rome on a very hot day 🦁

hi everybody this is Mr Duncan in Italy I  am now standing in a very special part of  

the capital of Italy of course I am in Rome and  I am roaming around one of the oldest monuments  

that exists here in Rome in fact you might  say it is one of the oldest monuments in the  

world this is the Coliseum a very well-known  place it has changed a lot over the years it  

used to have lots of seats lots of places for  Romans to sit and in the middle of the Coliseum  

lots of activities used to take place lots  of entertainment before the days of Tik Tok  

and YouTube people used to like to sit around  in large groups and watch slaves being fed to  

the Lions of course all of that has changed now  because of the internet and all of that but I'm  

not here on my own I have some special guests  as well of course you might recognize one of  

them straight away Mr Steve in the yellow just  I'm very sorry about that we were just cut off  

do you know why we were cut off because my poor  mobile phone was getting hot in the Rome sunshine  

so now I've come underneath the safe cool arches  of the Coliseum and as I was saying or trying to  

say also joining me today look look who it is it  is Mr Steve it is also Christina and Francesca as  

well joining us right here at the Coliseum we  are having the most wonderful time looking at  

all of the old [Music] ruins and also we are  looking at the Coliseum as well Mr Steve is  

very excited I have to say he looks really excited  to be here I'm very excited although I am slightly  

disappointed as well because no one has recognized  me I'm walking around and no one is saying oh are  

you Mr Duncan from the internet no one is saying  that so I might have a little cry later on we have  

a very busy day ahead head here so we are going  to sightsee around the Coliseum for a while and  

then we are going to have a walk around the  streets hopefully I will not pass out due to  

heat exhaustion I will try to stay conscious  through all of this and tonight we are having  

a special celebration with some other English  addicts as well we have a large group of people  

coming together and we will be having a lovely  dinner and then tomorrow of course which is Sunday  

we are doing the live stream as well hopefully we  will be out in the sunshine tomorrow and we will  

be enjoying our super duper live stream and that  is what we are doing on Sunday so I hope you will  

join us at around about 2:00 p.m. Rome time when I  say Rome time I mean the time in Rome so it isn't  

UK time it is Rome time can you see Franchesca she  is hovering over my shoulder she is filming me Mr  

Steve is filming me as well see now I feel famous  now I feel as if I have my public back anyway we  

are going to have a look around the Coliseum  hopefully we won't see any lions and hopefully  

I won't be made to wrestle any glad ators to the  ground and force him on his back I'm rather hoping  

it's the other way around to be honest see you  later and don't forget to join us for the live  

stream 2: p.m. Italy time Rome time and there  will be lots of people joining us as well besides  

Mr Steve where his where his Mr Steve where is  he there he is he's having a little bit of fun

I say first of all you have gone to a lot of  trouble to come here I don't understand very  

well you have gone through a lot of trouble lot  of problems to come here today we have a lot of  

problem because we have a problem with with the  train but we go way way way way way to meet you  

Mr dkan so you're only staying here in Rome  for a short time and then you will be going  

back but I do appreciate I'm very happy that  you've decided to come and see us on such a  

beautiful day as well it's it was for me a  big pleasure to meet Mr Donan and I hope to  

can be next time yes next time we are coming  back to Rome because as I said a few moments ago  

to everyone here I have fallen in love with Rome  so I think it is safe to say that I will be back  

here in Rome very soon also joining us hello hello  Franco hi everybody how are you today are you okay  

yes I'm I'm good thank you I'm very glad to hear  you are okay so I do appreciate you coming here I  

know you're only here for a short time because  you had some problems unfortunately yes uh but  

yes I'm very excited really to be here with you  and uh meeting you in person at least uh we could  

get to know each other better we could spend some  time together even though it is a very short time  

of course you can see also where is he Mr Steve is  there as well Franchesca is there also Christina  

so the group is getting larger and larger so  I will let you go before my phone overheats or
