Learn the English Phrases "in a jiffy" and "before you know it"

In this English lesson, I wanted to help

you learn the English phrase in a jiffy.

여러분이 영어 표현을 빠르게 배울 수 있도록 돕고 싶었습니다.

This simply means that something

이것은 단순히 어떤 일이

happens very, very quickly.

아주 아주 빨리 일어난다는 것을 의미합니다.

It's an older phrase.

오래된 문구입니다.

I don't actually use it that often anymore.

실제로는 더 이상 자주 사용하지 않습니다.

But I did hear my mom use it the other day.

그런데 얼마전에 엄마가 그걸 사용하신다는 얘기를 들었어요.

She said she was going to be back in a jiffy.

그녀는 곧 돌아올 것이라고 말했습니다.

We were playing a board game and she went

So it is something that is

When someone talks about doing

The second phrase I wanted to teach you today is the

phrase, before you know it, this means the same thing.

To do something very, very quickly.

어떤 일을 아주 아주 빨리 처리하다.

The other day I was at the garage

and I needed a new windshield wiper.

새 앞유리 와이퍼가 필요했습니다.

And you know what?

그리고 그거 알아?

Before you know it, they're done installing that.

They do it very, very quickly.

I actually went to talk to the mechanic, and the

And if someone does something before you
