This is a phrase

이것은

we use to describe something when we don't quite know how to describe it.

우리가 어떤 것을 어떻게 설명해야 할지 잘 모를 때 설명할 때 사용하는 표현입니다.

If you watch this English lesson to the end, I added a little bit of music.

이번 영어강의를 끝까지 보시면 제가 음악을 조금 추가했습니다.

I thought that my videos needed just a little something.

내 동영상에는 약간의 뭔가가 필요하다고 생각했습니다 .

I didn't know quite what it was, but I thought,

you know, I need a little something at the end.

And then I finally decided the answer was to put a little bit of music there.

Sometimes when you eat something, that's how you might describe it as well.

The other phrase I wanted to teach you today is “a little off”.

When you describe someone or something as being a little off,

누군가나 사물이 a little off라고 말할 때, 그것이 사람이라면 그 사람이 정상적으로

it means that they're not behaving normally, if it's a person,

행동하지 않는다는 뜻이고,

or it's different or strange if you're talking about a thing.

어떤 사물에 대해 이야기하고 있다면 그것은 다르거나 이상하다는 뜻입니다.

A few weeks ago I visited a friend and my friend seemed a little off.

몇 주 전에 친구를 방문했는데 친구가 좀 기분이 나빠 보였습니다.

And so I said to him, You know, what's wrong?

And he shared with me something that was happening in his life.

So if a person seems a little off, it means they're not as happy as they

The other day I ate a cookie.

I bought a cookie from Tim Hortons and something was a little off.

It didn't taste very good at all.

There was definitely something a little off.

So to review a little something,

this is how we describe when we know that something needs something or...

무언가에 뭔가가 필요하다는 것을 알 때,

or we want to put something somewhere, but we don't know quite what it is.

We just say, Oh,

it needs a little something or I'm going to put a little something there.

And when you say something is a little off or a person is a little off,

it just means that
