In this video, I will introduce the future continuous English grammar tense.

ဤဗီဒီယိုတွင် အနာဂတ်စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် အင်္ဂလိပ်သဒ္ဒါတင်းအား မိတ်ဆက်ပေးပါမည်။

This tense can be used to express an ongoing action in the future.

ဤတင်းမာမှုကို အနာဂတ်တွင် ဆက်လက်လုပ်ဆောင်နေမှုများကို ဖော်ပြရန်အတွက် အသုံးပြုနိုင်သည်။

I'll go over the basics of this lesson.

One usage of the future continuous tense

အနာဂတ်စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ်တင်းမာမှု၏အသုံးပြုမှုတစ်ခုမှာ

is to talk about an ongoing action that will happen in the future.

အနာဂတ်တွင်ဖြစ်ပျက်မည့် ဆက်လက်လုပ်ဆောင်မှုတစ်ခုအကြောင်း ပြောဆိုခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။

We include when this action will be happening.

ဤလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ကို မည်သည့်အချိန်တွင် ဖြစ်ပျက်မည်နည်း။

We can use ‘will be’ or ‘be going to be’.

'will' သို့မဟုတ် 'be going' ကို သုံးနိုင်သည်။

To do this, let's take a look at some examples.

ဒီလိုလုပ်ဖို့၊ ဥပမာအချို့ကိုကြည့်ရအောင်။

‘I will be taking the test soon.’

'ငါ မကြာခင် စာမေးပွဲ ဖြေတော့မယ်။'

So you can see here we have the subject and then ‘will be’.

ဒီတော့ ငါတို့မှာ အကြောင်းအရာရှိတယ်၊ ပြီးတော့ 'ဖြစ်လိမ့်မယ်' လို့ ဒီမှာတွေ့နိုင်တယ်။

After that, we include verb +ing.

အဲဒီနောက်မှာတော့ verb +ing ပါ၀င်ပါတယ်။

The word ‘soon’ at the end of this sentence indicates when this action will be happening.

ဤဝါကျ၏အဆုံးတွင် 'မကြာမီ' ဟူသော စကားလုံးသည် မည်သည့်အချိန်တွင် ဖြစ်ပျက်လာမည်ကို ညွှန်ပြသည်။

‘I am going to be taking the test soon.’

'ငါ မကြာခင် စာမေးပွဲ ဖြေရတော့မယ်။'

This sentence means the same thing as the first sentence,

ဤဝါကျသည် ပထမဝါကျနှင့် အတူတူပင်

but instead of ‘will be’, we used ‘be going to be’.

ဖြစ်သော်လည်း 'ဖြစ်မည်' အစား 'ဖြစ်မည်' ဟု သုံးသည်။

ဤနေရာတွင် ဘာသာရပ်သည် 'ငါ' ဖြစ်သည်။

Here the subject is ‘I’.

And therefore we have the ‘be’ verb ‘am’.

ထို့ကြောင့် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင် 'be' ကြိယာ 'am' ရှိသည်။

‘I am going to be’ And then verb +ing.

'I am going to be' ပြီးရင် verb +ing။

‘I am going to be taking the test soon.’

'ငါ မကြာခင် စာမေးပွဲ ဖြေရတော့မယ်။'

I can also use the contraction and say.

ကျုံ့ပြီးပြောလို့ရတယ်။

‘I'm going to be taking the test soon.’

'ငါ မကြာခင် စာမေးပွဲ ဖြေရတော့မယ်။'

The next sentence says, ‘He will be sleeping by 10 p.m.’

နောက်စာကြောင်းက 'သူ 10 နာရီထိုးမှ အိပ်မယ်' ဆိုပြီး

And the last sentence says, ‘They are going to be …’

နောက်ဆုံးစာကြောင်းက 'သူတို့ ဖြစ်တော့မယ်...'

Here, because the subject is ‘they’, we use ‘are’.

ဆိုတော့ အကြောင်းအရာက 'သူတို့' ဆိုတော့ 'are' သုံးပါတယ်။

‘They are going to be studying …’ There's the verb +ing

'သူတို့ စာသင်တော့မယ်…' There's the verb +ing

‘… next October.’

'… လာမည့် အောက်တိုဘာလ။'

‘by 10 pm’ and ‘next October’ show when these actions will be happening.

'ည ၁၀ နာရီ နောက်ဆုံးထားပြီး' နှင့် 'လာမည့် အောက်တိုဘာလ' တွင် ဤလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်များ မည်သည့်အချိန်တွင် ဖြစ်လာမည်ကို ပြသသည်။

Let's move on.

The future continuous tense is also used to show

အနာဂတ် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှု

that a short action in the future is happening

ကိုလည်း အနာဂတ်တွင် တိုတောင်းသော လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်တစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပျက်

during or while a longer action is in progress in the future,.

နေချိန် သို့မဟုတ် အနာဂတ်တွင် ပိုမိုကြာရှည်စွာ လုပ်ဆောင်နေချိန်တွင် ဖြစ်သည် ကို ပြသရန်လည်း အသုံးပြုပါသည် ။

We can use the word ‘when’ to show when the shorter action occurs.

တိုတောင်းသော လုပ်ဆောင်ချက် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသည့်အခါ ပြသရန် 'အချိန်' ဟူသော စကားလုံးကို ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ သုံးနိုင်သည်။

Take a look at the first example,

'သူတို့ရောက်လာရင် ငါအိပ်မယ်'

‘I will be sleeping when they arrive.’

ဆိုတဲ့ ပထမဥပမာကို ကြည့်ပါ

Here we see two actions,

။ ဒီနေရာမှာ

‘I will be sleeping’ and ‘they arrive’.

'ငါအိပ်တော့မယ်' နဲ့ 'ရောက်တော့မယ်' ဆိုတဲ့ လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်နှစ်ခုကို ငါတို့တွေ့တယ်။

The part of the sentence that's in the future continuous tense is the longer action

အနာဂတ် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာနေသော ဝါကျ၏ အစိတ်အပိုင်းသည်

that's in progress in the future.

အနာဂတ်တွင် လုပ်ဆောင်နေသည့် ကြာကြာလုပ်ဆောင်မှု ဖြစ်သည်။

‘I will be sleeping.’

'ငါအိပ်တော့မယ်'

Remember, ‘I will be’ and then verb +ing.

'I will be' ပြီးနောက် ကြိယာ +ing ကို သတိရပါ။

This is the action that is ongoing in the future.

ဒါက အနာဂတ်မှာ လုပ်နေတဲ့ လုပ်ရပ်ပါ။

ထို့နောက် 'သူတို့ရောက်လာသောအခါ' ဟု ကျွန်ုပ်တို့မြင်သည်။

Then we see ‘when they arrive’.

ဤသည်ကား ပစ္စုပ္ပန်ကာလ၌ ဖြစ်၏။

This is in the present tense.

‘they arrive’

'သူတို့ရောက်လာတယ်'

This is the shorter action that happens while this action is ongoing.

ဟူသည်မှာ ဤလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ကို ဆက်လက်လုပ်ဆောင်နေချိန်တွင် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသည့် တိုတောင်းသော လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ဖြစ်သည်။

‘We will be having dinner when the movie starts.’

'ရုပ်ရှင်စပြီး ညစာစားကြမယ်။'

ဤသည်မှာ ပထမစာကြောင်းနှင့် အလွန်ဆင်တူသည်။

This is very similar to the first sentence.

‘We will be having dinner …’

'ငါတို့ ညစာစားကြမယ်…'

That's the ongoing action that will happen in the future.

အဲဒါက အနာဂတ်မှာ ဖြစ်လာမယ့် လုပ်ရပ်ပါ။

And while this is happening, the movie will start.

ဒီလိုဖြစ်နေချိန်မှာတော့ ရုပ်ရှင်စတော့မှာပါ။

But again, we use the present tense here.

ဒါပေမယ့် ဒီနေရာမှာ ပစ္စုပ္ပန်ကာလကို သုံးပါတယ်။

‘the movie starts’

'ရုပ်ရှင်စပြီ'

So we will be having dinner when the movie starts.

ဒါနဲ့ ရုပ်ရှင်စတော့မယ်ဆိုရင် ညစာစားမယ်။

‘Tina is going to be working when you leave.’

'Tina မင်းထွက်သွားရင် အလုပ်သွားတော့မယ်။'

Remember, we can use ‘be going to be’ in this tense so,

ဒီတင်းမာမှုမှာ 'ဖြစ်မယ်' လို့ သုံးနိုင်တယ်၊ ဒါကြောင့်

‘She is going to be working when you leave.’

'မင်းထွက်သွားတဲ့အခါ သူ အလုပ်လုပ်တော့မှာ' ဆိုတာကို သတိရပါ။

This shorter action will happen while this ongoing action is in progress.

ဤလုပ်ဆောင်ဆဲလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ကို လုပ်ဆောင်နေချိန်တွင် ဤတိုတောင်းသောလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်သည် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာမည်ဖြစ်သည်။

And finally, ‘It will be raining when you go shopping’.

နောက်ဆုံးတော့ 'ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်ရင် မိုးရွာလိမ့်မယ်' တဲ့။

Again, this is the ongoing action.

နောက်တစ်ခုက ဒါက လုပ်နေတဲ့ လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ပါ။

And this is the shorter action.

ပြီးတော့ ဒါက ပိုတိုတဲ့ လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ပါ။

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

Let's move on.

Now, I'll talk about the negative form of the future continuous tense.

အခု ကျွန်တော်ပြောမယ့် အနာဂတ် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှုရဲ့ အဆိုးမြင်ပုံစံ။

Here are some examples:

ဤသည်မှာ ဥပမာအချို့ဖြစ်သည်-

‘He will not be reading before bed.’

'သူသည် အိပ်ရာမဝင်မီစာဖတ်မည်မဟုတ်'။

For the negative form, after the subject and ‘will’, we say ‘not be’.

အနှုတ်ပုံစံအတွက်၊ အကြောင်းအရာနှင့် 'ဆန္ဒ' ပြီးနောက်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် 'မဖြစ်' ဟုဆိုသည်။

And then verb +ing.

ပြီးရင် ကြိယာ +ing ။

‘He will not be reading before bed.’

'သူ အိပ်ရာမဝင်ခင် စာမဖတ်ဘူး'

He'll be doing something else.

သူ တခြားတစ်ခုခုလုပ်တော့မယ်။

The next sentence says,

နောက်စာကြောင်းက

‘My dad won't be cheering when the game ends.’

'ဖေဖေက ပွဲပြီးရင် အားပေးမှာမဟုတ်ဘူး' တဲ့။

So this is very similar to the first sentence.

ဒီတော့ ဒါက ပထမစာကြောင်းနဲ့ အရမ်းတူတယ်။

We have the subject, ‘my dad,’

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင် 'ဖေဖေ' ဟူသော အကြောင်းအရာ ရှိပြီး

and instead of ‘will not’ we use the contraction ‘won't’.

'မလုပ်' အစား ကျုံ့ခြင်း 'မဖြစ်' ကို သုံးပါသည်။

Remember, ‘won't’ is a contraction for ‘will not’.

'won't' သည် ' will not' အတွက် ကျုံ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်ကို သတိရပါ။

‘My dad won't …’ and then we have ‘be’ verb +ing.

'အဖေ မဟုတ်ဘူး…' ပြီးတော့ ငါတို့မှာ 'be' ကြိယာ +ing ရှိတယ်။

‘My dad won't be cheering when the game ends.’

'ပွဲပြီးရင် ငါ့အဖေက အားပေးမှာမဟုတ်ဘူး။'

The next sentence says, ‘He is not going to be working tomorrow.’

နောက်စာကြောင်းက 'သူ မနက်ဖြန် အလုပ်မသွားဘူး' တဲ့။

Here we have the ‘be going to be’.

ဒီမှာ 'ဖြစ်မယ်' ရှိတယ်။

So ‘he’ is the subject and so we use the ‘be’ verb ‘is’.

ဒါကြောင့် 'he' ဟာ subject ဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက်ကြောင့် 'be' verb 'is' ကို သုံးပါတယ်။

After the ‘be’ verb, we say ‘not’.

'be' ကြိယာနောက်မှာ 'not' လို့ ပြောတယ်။

He is not going to ‘be’ verb +ing.

သူသည် 'be' ကြိယာ +ing မဟုတ်ပါ။

‘He is not going to be working tomorrow.’

'မနက်ဖြန် အလုပ်မသွားဘူး'

Remember, we can also use a contraction here and say,

ဤနေရာတွင် ကျုံ့ခြင်းကိုလည်း အသုံးပြုနိုင်ပြီး

‘He isn't going to be working tomorrow.’

'သူ မနက်ဖြန် အလုပ်မလုပ်တော့ပါ' ဟု ပြောနိုင်ကြောင်း သတိရပါ။

That's okay as well.

ဒါလည်း အဆင်ပြေပါတယ်။

‘We aren't going to be shopping on Sunday.’

'ငါတို့ တနင်္ဂနွေမှာ ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်မှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။'

Here the subject is ‘we’.

ဒီနေရာမှာ ဘာသာရပ်က 'ငါ' ပါ။

And so the ‘be’ verb to use is ‘are’.

ဒါကြောင့် 'be' ကြိယာက 'are' ပါ။

ဒီနေရာမှာ 'are't' ကို 'are not' အတွက် သုံးပါတယ်။

I use the contraction here ‘aren't’ for ‘are not’.

‘We are not …’ or ‘We aren't going to be shopping on Sunday.’

'ငါတို့ မဟုတ်ဘူး…' သို့မဟုတ် 'ငါတို့ တနင်္ဂနွေမှာ ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်မှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး'

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

Now let's talk about how to form basic questions in the future continuous tense.

ယခု အနာဂတ်စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှုတွင် အခြေခံမေးခွန်းများကို မည်သို့ဖွဲ့စည်းရမည်ကို ဆွေးနွေးကြပါစို့။

Take a look at this first sentence.

ဒီပထမစာကြောင်းကို ကြည့်ပါ။

It says, ‘He will be traveling next month.’

'သူ နောက်လ ခရီးသွားမယ်' လို့ ပြောတယ်။

Now, to turn this into a question,

ယခု ဤအရာကို မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲရန်၊

all you have to do is change the order of the first two words.

သင်လုပ်ဆောင်ရမည့်အရာမှာ ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံး၏ အစီအစဥ်ကို ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။

So ‘He will’ becomes ‘Will he’.

ဒီတော့ 'သူသွားမယ်' 'Will he' ဖြစ်သွားတယ်။

‘Will he be traveling next month?’

'သူ နောက်လ ခရီးသွားမှာလား။'

You'll notice that the rest of the words don't change.

ကျန်တဲ့ စကားလုံးတွေ မပြောင်းဘူးဆိုတာ သတိထားမိမှာပါ။

Only the first two words.

ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံးသာ။

So, ‘Will he be traveling next month?’

ဒါဆို 'သူ နောက်လမှာ ခရီးသွားမှာလား။'

To answer you can say, ‘Yes, he will.’

'ဟုတ်တယ်၊ သူလုပ်လိမ့်မယ်' ဟုသင်ဖြေဆိုနိုင်သည်။

ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'မဟုတ်ဘူး၊ သူလုပ်မှာမဟုတ်ဘူး။'

or ‘No, he won't.’

The next sentence says, ‘They are going to be living there.’

နောက်စာကြောင်းက 'သူတို့အဲဒီမှာနေမယ်။'

Again to turn this into a question, simply switch the order of the first two words.

၎င်းကို မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ်သို့ တစ်ဖန်ပြောင်းရန်၊ ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံး၏ အစီအစဥ်ကို ပြောင်းပါ။

‘They are’ becomes ‘Are they’.

'သူတို့' က 'ဟုတ်လား' ဖြစ်သွားတယ်။

‘Are they going to be living there?’

'အဲဒီမှာ နေမှာလား။'

To reply you can say, ‘Yes, they are.’

အကြောင်းပြန်ရန် သင်သည် 'ဟုတ်တယ်၊ သူတို့က' ဟု ပြောနိုင်သည်။

or ‘No, they aren't.’

ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'မဟုတ်ဘူး၊ သူတို့မဟုတ်ဘူး'

Now, you'll notice in these two sentences,

ယခု ဤစာကြောင်းနှစ်ကြောင်းတွင် သင်သတိပြုမိလိမ့်မည်၊

there is no exact point in time that shows when this action will be happening in the

ဤလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်သည် အနာဂတ်တွင် မည်သည့်အချိန်တွင်ဖြစ်ပျက်လာမည်ကို ပြသသည့်

အချိန်အတိအကျမရှိပါ ။

future.

There is no ‘next month’ or anything like that.

'နောက်လ' သို့မဟုတ် ထိုကဲ့သို့ မည်သည့်အရာမျှ မရှိပါ။

ထိုအခြေအနေမျိုးတွင်၊ ၎င်းသည် တစ်ချိန်ချိန်တွင် အနာဂတ်ကို ဆိုလိုသည်။

In that case, it simply means sometime in the future.

So, they are going to be living there sometime in the future.

ဒါကြောင့် နောင်တစ်ချိန်မှာ သူတို့အဲဒီမှာ နေထိုင်သွားမယ်။

အဲဒါကို ဆိုလိုတာပါ။

That's what that means.

အခု၊ အနာဂတ် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှုမှာ 'WH' မေးခွန်းတွေကို ဘယ်လိုပုံစံနဲ့ သွားမလဲ။

Now, I'll go into how to form ‘WH’ questions in the future continuous tense.

Take a look at the board.

ဘုတ်ကိုကြည့်ပါ။

First, you'll notice that all of these questions begin with the ‘Wh’ words -

ပထမဦးစွာ၊ ဤမေးခွန်းများအားလုံးသည် 'Wh' စကားလုံးများ -

‘Where,’ ‘What,’ ‘Who,’ and ‘When’.

'Where' 'What' 'Who' နှင့် 'When' တို့ဖြင့် စတင်သည်ကို သင်သတိပြုမိပါလိမ့်မည်။

Let's take a look at the first question.

ပထမမေးခွန်းကို ကြည့်ရအောင်။

‘Where will he be working?’

'သူဘယ်မှာအလုပ်လုပ်မှာလဲ'

When we use ‘will be’, we start with ‘Where’ and then ‘will’.

'will' ကိုသုံးတဲ့အခါ 'Where' နဲ့ စပြီးတော့ 'will' နဲ့ စတယ်။

After that, we have the subject + be and then verb +ing.

ထို့နောက်တွင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင် subject + be နှင့် verb +ing ရှိသည်။

‘Where will he be working?’

'သူဘယ်မှာအလုပ်လုပ်မှာလဲ'

I can answer by saying,

'သူလုပ်မယ်' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'စက်ရုံမှာ အလုပ်လုပ်မယ်'

‘He will’ or ‘He'll be working at the factory.’

လို့ ဖြေနိုင်ပါတယ် ။

The next question says, ‘What will she be watching?’

နောက်မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုက 'သူဘာတွေကြည့်နေမှာလဲ' တဲ့။

This is very similar to the first question.

ဒါက ပထမမေးခွန်းနဲ့ အရမ်းတူတယ်။

The only difference is that the subject is now ‘she’ and the verb is different.

တစ်ခုတည်းသော ခြားနားချက်မှာ ဘာသာရပ်သည် ယခုအခါ 'သူမ' ဖြစ်ပြီး ကြိယာ ကွဲပြားပါသည်။

‘What will she be watching?’

'သူ ဘာကြည့်နေတာလဲ'

I can say, ‘She'll be watching’ or ‘She will be watching her favorite tv show’.

'သူမကြည့်မယ်' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'သူမအကြိုက်ဆုံးတီဗီရှိုးကြည့်မယ်' လို့ ပြောနိုင်ပါတယ်။

‘Who will they be talking to?’

'ဘယ်သူနဲ့ စကားပြောမှာလဲ'

Again, very similar.

တဖန်အလွန်တူသည်။

To answer,I can say,

ဖြေဖို့ကတော့

‘They will be talking to their mom.’

'သူတို့အမေနဲ့ စကားပြောမယ်' လို့ ပြောလို့ရပါတယ်

။ နောက်ဆုံးမေးခွန်းက 'ဖြစ်မယ်' တဲ့။

The last question has ‘be going to be’.

‘When are we …’ here the subject is ’we’.

'ငါတို့ဘယ်တော့လဲ...' ဟူသောအကြောင်းအရာမှာ 'ငါတို့' ဖြစ်သည်။

So we start with the ‘be verb’ – ‘are’.

ဒါကြောင့် 'be verb' – 'are' နဲ့ စတယ်။

‘When are we going to be meeting Casey?’

'ငါတို့ ဘယ်တော့ Casey နဲ့ တွေ့မှာလဲ'

I can say,

'ငါတို့ ဒီည Casey နဲ့ တွေ့မယ်' လို့

‘We are going to be meeting Casey later tonight.’

ပြောနိုင်ပါတယ် ။

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

အနာဂတ် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှုအတွက် စစ်ဆေးမှုကို စတင်ကြပါစို့။

Let's start a checkup for the future continuous tense.

Take a look at the first sentence.

ပထမစာကြောင်းကို လေ့လာကြည့်ပါ။

It says, ‘They _blank_ at school tomorrow.’

'မနက်ဖြန် ကျောင်းမှာ သူတို့ _blank_ ' လို့ ပြောတယ်။

I want you to use ‘will' and then the verb ‘study’, for this tense.

ဒီ tense အတွက် 'will' နဲ့ 'study' ဆိုတဲ့ verb ကို သုံးစေချင်ပါတယ်။

Remember, in the future continuous tense,

အနာဂတ်စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ်တင်းမာမှုတွင်

no matter what the subject, we say ‘will be’ and then verb +ing.

မည်သည့်အကြောင်းအရာကိုမဆို 'ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်' ပြီးနောက် ကြိယာ +ing ဟုပြောသည်ကို သတိရပါ။
