ومرحبا بكم في دورة اللغة الإنجليزية عن الصفات.

In today’s video, I’m going to tell you everything there is to know about adjectives.

في فيديو اليوم ، سأخبركم بكل شيء يمكن معرفته عن الصفات.

And what they are exactly.

وما هم بالضبط.

The best way to describe an adjective in English is to say that

أفضل طريقة لوصف الصفة في اللغة الإنجليزية هي القول بأنها

it’s a word that describes or clarifies a noun.

كلمة تصف أو توضح اسمًا.

It gives you information on people, things, ideas, nouns, or pronouns.

يمنحك معلومات عن الأشخاص أو الأشياء أو الأفكار أو الأسماء أو الضمائر.

It is very important to understand what adjectives are

من المهم جدًا فهم ماهية الصفات

and to know how to use them.

ومعرفة كيفية استخدامها.

Because they are essential when you speak English.

لأنها ضرورية عندما تتحدث الإنجليزية.

Let’s get started.

هيا بنا نبدأ.

Adjectives give us so much information about nouns.

تعطينا الصفات الكثير من المعلومات حول الأسماء.

Let’s, for example, take a common noun, ‘cup’.

لنأخذ ، على سبيل المثال ، اسمًا شائعًا ، "كأس".

And see how many ways there are in English to describe a cup

وانظر كم عدد الطرق المتوفرة في اللغة الإنجليزية لوصف فنجان

using different kinds of adjectives.

باستخدام أنواع مختلفة من الصفات.

Let’s see.

دعنا نرى.

We can say, “It’s a great cup.”

يمكننا أن نقول ، "إنها فنجان رائع."

Just give your opinion.

فقط أعط رأيك.

“It’s a big cup.”

"إنها فنجان كبير."

Talking about the size of the cup.

نتحدث عن حجم الكوب.

If you want to talk about the shape of the cup you could say,

إذا كنت تريد التحدث عن شكل الكأس ، يمكنك أن تقول ،

“It’s a round cup.”

"إنه كوب مستدير".

“It’s an old cup.”

"إنه فنجان قديم."

If you want to talk about age.

إذا كنت تريد التحدث عن العمر.

Or if you want to say what color it is, “It’s a white cup.”

أو إذا كنت تريد أن تقول لونه ، "إنه كوب أبيض".

Or talking about temperature, “It’s a cold cup.”

أو بالحديث عن درجة الحرارة ، "إنه فنجان بارد."

“It’s a broken cup.”

"إنه فنجان مكسور."

If you make observations.

إذا قمت بعمل ملاحظات.

“It’s a Korean cup.”

"إنها كأس كوري."

Talking about origins.

الحديث عن الأصول.

Or you can mention the material.

أو يمكنك ذكر المادة.

“It’s a plastic cup.”

"إنه كوب بلاستيكي."

Or “It’s a coffee cup.”

أو "إنه فنجان قهوة".

Talking about the purpose of the cup.

نتحدث عن الغرض من الكأس.

Now ‘coffee’ as you know is a noun.

الآن "القهوة" كما تعلم هو اسم.

But in this case, it can be used as an adjective.

لكن في هذه الحالة ، يمكن استخدامها كصفة.

All these adjectives are places before the noun.

كل هذه الصفات هي أماكن قبل الاسم.

Let’s learn more about adjectives.

دعونا نتعلم المزيد عن الصفات.

Adjectives can found before the noun.

يمكن العثور على الصفات قبل الاسم.

It’s called the attribute position.

يطلق عليه اسم موضع السمة.

Or after the noun.

أو بعد الاسم.

Which is called the predicative position.

وهو ما يسمى بالموقف المسند.

And it’s just as common.

وهو شائع بنفس القدر.

Adjectives which are found after a verb, describe the subject of this verb.

الصفات التي توجد بعد الفعل ، تصف موضوع هذا الفعل.

Usually a noun or a pronoun.

عادة اسم أو ضمير.

So if we take the sentence, “The girl is nice.”

لذا إذا أخذنا الجملة ، "الفتاة لطيفة."

The adjective, ‘nice’, refers to the subject of the sentence, ‘the girl’.

تشير صفة "لطيفة" إلى موضوع الجملة ، "الفتاة".

But it is placed after the verb ‘to be’.

ولكن يتم وضعها بعد فعل "يكون".

“My students are happy.”

"طلابي سعداء."

Same thing.

نفس الشيء.

The adjective, ‘happy’, describes the subject of the sentence, ‘my students’.

تصف صفة "سعيد" موضوع الجملة "طلابي".

But it is placed after the verb.

لكنها توضع بعد الفعل.

Let’s move on to practice now.

دعنا ننتقل إلى الممارسة الآن.

Let’s now practice finding adjectives in a few sentences.

دعنا الآن نتدرب على إيجاد الصفات في بضع جمل.

“I’m a tall woman.”

"أنا امرأة طويلة."

Can you see the adjective in this sentence?

هل تستطيع أن ترى الصفة في هذه الجملة؟

I hope you can.

أتمنى أن تتمكن من ذلك.

The adjective is ‘tall’.

الصفة "طويل".

It gives you the height of the woman.

يمنحك ارتفاع المرأة.

“I’m a British woman.”

"أنا امرأة بريطانية."

Now where is the adjective?

الآن أين هي الصفة؟

The adjective is ‘British’.

الصفة "بريطاني".

Gives you the origins of this woman.

يعطيك أصول هذه المرأة.

“I have blonde hair.”

"لدي شعر اشقر."

Now what’s the adjective in this sentence?

الآن ما هي الصفة في هذه الجملة؟

Of course guys, it is ‘blonde’.

بالطبع يا رفاق ، إنها "شقراء".

It gives you the color of the hair.

يمنحك لون الشعر.

“My eyes are blue.”

"عيوني زرقاء."

Now that’s a different sentence.

الآن هذه جملة مختلفة.

Can you spot the adjective?

هل يمكنك تحديد الصفة؟

The adjective is ‘blue.

الصفة هي الأزرق.

What’s blue?

ما هو اللون الأزرق؟

My eyes.

عيناي.

‘My eyes’ is the subject of the sentence and the adjective is ‘blue’.

"عيني" موضوع الجملة والصفة "زرقاء".

“I’m nice.”

"انا جميل."

Again, can you spot the adjective?

مرة أخرى ، هل يمكنك تحديد الصفة؟

It’s ‘nice’.

جميل'.

Okay?

تمام؟

And finally, “The weather is cold.”

وأخيرًا ، "الجو بارد."

What’s the adjective?

ما هي الصفة؟

Where is it?

أين هي؟

Can you see it?

هل تستطيع ان تراه؟

The adjective is ‘cold’.

الصفة "بارد".

What’s cold?

ما هو البرد؟

The weather.

الجو.

‘The weather’ is the subject and the adjective is ‘cold’.

"الطقس" هو الموضوع والصفة "بارد".

Now in the first three sentences, it’s the attribute position.

الآن في الجمل الثلاث الأولى ، إنه موضع السمة.

Remember?

يتذكر؟

The adjective comes before the noun.

تأتي الصفة قبل الاسم.

And in the last three sentences, it’s the predicative position.

وفي الجمل الثلاثة الأخيرة ، هذا هو الموقف التنبدي.

The adjective comes after the noun.

تأتي الصفة بعد الاسم.

And in this case, after the verb ‘to be’.

It’s very important that you repeat the sentences after me

to practice saying these adjectives in a sentence.

Okay, let’s get started.

حسنًا ، لنبدأ.

“I’m a tall woman.”

"أنا امرأة طويلة."

Can you repeat after me?

هل تستطيع أن تعيد بعدي؟

Twice.

مرتين.

First, “I’m a tall woman.”

أولاً ، "أنا امرأة طويلة."

“I’m a tall woman.”

"أنا امرأة طويلة."

Very good.

جيد جدًا.

Moving on.

المضي قدما.

“I’m a British woman.”

"أنا امرأة بريطانية."

Repeat after me.

Third sentence “I have blonde hair.”

So repeat after me please.

"لدي شعر اشقر."

“I have blonde hair.”

"لدي شعر اشقر."

Very good.

جيد جدًا.

“My eyes are blue.”

"عيوني زرقاء."

Repeat after me.

"عيوني زرقاء."

Next one.

التالي.

“I’m nice.”

"انا جميل."

Repeat after me.

And finally, “The weather is cold.”

وأخيرًا ، "الجو بارد."
